laddskywalker
What a great game! It's as engaging as Starcraft or Age of Empires II with all the glory, fun, intrigue, and excitement as the Star Wars Trilogy! HOWEVER! There's still much room for improvement. Hopefully with this thread, we can address the main improvements and suggestions to SW:GB that will make it one helluva real-time strategy game! Add any suggestions you like, these are just mine. - I've noticed some units can shoot past walls and fortifications. It's not fair to the other guy if I can blast his droid past the wall. - How about a cheat code or something for the Death Star that can wipe out another player totally? - Yes, I agree that the air to air combat could be more engaging. - How about adding the Ewoks as a civilization? -I'm looking forward to an expansion in the next year or so with Episode 2 coming out. Maybe more options, civilizations, units, heroes, etc. -Expand the units, heroes, civilizations to some of the Expanded Universe books, etc. Esp. Timothy Zahn's HEIR TO THE EMPIRE, or SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE. I can only imagine the Star Wars Galaxy becoming more and more encompassed by Galactic Battlegrounds. The game looks promising. My hope is the developers at Lucasarts will listen to the fans, the REAL heart of the Star Wars Universe, and consider our suggestions for making the game better and better all the time! Zygomaticus
i agree with most of those except the cheat codes i think they should have never made cheatcodes--takes the fun out of the action

My hope is the developers at Lucasarts will listen to the fans, the REAL heart of the Star Wars Universe, and consider our suggestions for making the game better and better all the time! Most of them are good suggestions! (Notice evrry suggestion is for an expansion) 1. Yep, if possible make units unable to shoot units through walls. 2. Don't like it, please no Death Star 3. Air combat is fine. I'd like another line of ships. 4. No Ewoks please!!!!!! Mon Cal would be great..... and an Episode 2 civ, let's keep civs balanced between classic and prequel. (But if the developer's want, I wouldn't mind seeing 2 prequel, and 2 classic ) 5. YES!!!! PLEASE!!!!! Thrawn, Joruus C'Baoth, Talon Karrde, Pallaeon, Ackbar, Borsk Fey'lya, Dash Rendar, Guri, Xizor, The Outrider, Star Vipers, Coruscant Guards, Emperor's Royal Guards. Man!!!!! I would do 2 great campaigns with that!!!!! 6. One final personal suggestion: Shields looked much better in the trailer!!!!! Thanks for reading, hope you take something into consideration. Guest TarlSS
My main problem- Jedi are too WEAK. They get raped by anything and everything, including troops and mechs, which they are DESIGNED to COUNTER. The problem with Jedi is the upgrades are TOO EXPENSIVE. They're over 2000 nova for a SINGLE fully operational master.(Mind Trick, Concentration, Force Strong, Meditation) And then you have to buy the master itself. And note, 1200 nova of these expensive upgrades do NOT affect the Jedi knights you already have. ( Mind trick, concentration.) The reason they suck is you spend so much money in making them effective, you don't have enough left to actually buy the units. While with things like heavy assault mechs, a simple (approx) 600 food, 600 Nova makes them super nasty. AND it's affected by War Center upgrades. Sadly, Jedi are not. I see three solutions- Make the Jedi Knight able to use Jedi Mind Trick ( It can't, it was a manual misprint, or a bug) Make Jedi Upgrades Mind Trick and Meditation 400 or so nova. Make Bounty Hunters less effective against other units. They should be just like Anti-Air troopers and grenade troopers. Good for Jedi, bad for everything else. Or at least mediocre. Bounty hunters are very effective at beatin the pants off of mechs and troops. The only way to effectively fight them is by air or to overwhelm them. I personally would like to see Jedi Knights able to use Jedi Mind Trick. It would be least disruptive and it was intended. (For a time, at least.) I completely agree, the upgrades are far too expensive. I have given up doing them as the jedi/sith just arent effective enough. I seem to play tradefed more than any as there postive civ traits are all very effective.
Gungan_Reble
I just use my Bounty Hunters against enemy Jedi/Sith. it makes these units a bit pointless in the game witch is a pity in my opinion
Guest Stan|SCN Punk
Well, I just use Sith Knights to get holocrons and that's it. I never get two sith's in one game . Assualt mech rules.
Heavyarms
well, Jedi knights can be incorporated better than that, stan. I can easily use them as defenders of heavy weapons, which is their best use. I also use them for a destraction, to attack with about 10 in one plaee, and send a bunch another way!
