Jedi Dad
In Battlegrounds, I really enjoy the game, but it appears that the rebels are getting the ol shaft-o-la. I can not seem to find their 'Premier unit' The A-wing produced at the Fortress is worthless compared to the X- and Y-wings even after all the upgrading. Also, along this same line, if the Jedi are supposed to be their best unit, it is rendered useless because of the ease of which bounty hunters can be produced and littered all over the map. To help with this, can you please increase the cost of bounty hunters, decrease their sight range and/or lengthen their production time? Perhaps make them available only in TL4. In all my online games, i never built jedi/sith because they die to easy because of all the bounty hunters around. In researching Jedi Stealth, I assume that the jedi cloak automatically and are visible to only those with advanced detection systems. It would be much nicer if the jedi became slightly transparent to indicate they are now cloaked once stealth has been researched. In keeping with the Star Wars mythos, it might be better if you could only produce 2 sith lords per civ at a time. Thus, only jedi can be produced in mass quantities (if desired). Guest Supreme Warlord
those A-wings are snowspeeder... thought I point that out those are nice ideas for the rebel I agree that the Jedi that are cloaked need to be a tad bit transparent... Com Raven
Idea about transpareny sounds nice, thought along those lines too .... But dig that idea with just 2 Sith Lords, wouldn't be fair !! And as all licensed games, this one has a lotta other things that aren't strict with the codex ....
duder
the snowspeeders are great for taking out mechs, thus are great defensive units.
Guest Supreme Warlord
I never got the point of the snowspeeders. I played as the rebel alliances and I build a bunch of them...I got slaughtered...They were fully upgraded. Anybody want to tell me a good strat for snowspeeder? captain_drake
i know they are just worthless they are suposed to be mech killers but if you add airdefense they are worthless so i don't get the point either
Guest SDRAWKCAB
i still think Rebels should be like the Empire with their aircraft... Fast Fighter: X-Wing Enh Fighter: A-Wing Adv Fighter: E-Wing Bomber: Y-Wing Enh Bomber: B-Wing Adv Bomber: ????? ^cool^
Guest BountyHunter
I wish I could stuff the mounted troopers into those A-wings and send them on a one way mission 2gether to doomsville.
Tie Guy
I wish that they did away with detector units. Master should only be seen when they attack, are attacked, or are converting something. That would make them more powerfull, and the stealth would actually be usefull, unlike it is now.
Guest jediaoe
well if that happened and you only had like one master left in a game, and you just made him sit there, they other player couldn't win.
captain_drake
yeah that whould be weak becosue the game whould neaver end what i want is more then just jedi as stealth units like make the probots invisable too

Well, anyone annoying enough to do that is someone i would never want to play with in the first place, and if they did do that then it is just cowardly and pathetic. Ok, so maybe you could have ONLY bounty hunters be detectors.
Dvlos
Unless you bring along with you ridiculous amounts of AA troopers and AA mechs, speeders can lay waste to all your heavy assault mechs/droidekas/destroyer mechs/pummels/artillery/cannons faster than any other unit save mounted units (but try getting those suckers in range)... If you decided to make a fleet of nothing but speeders your rather silly. But mix them with shielded bombers and fighters, and they make a great DEFENSIVE unit, maybe not so much for offense. I've been under siege by TF units before as well as Empire, and when your speeders make short work of stampeding ATATs you like them a whole lot more. Guest TarlSS
You guys don't seem to be getting this, the true strength of the rebels lies in the TROOPS. Jedi and Air are to support these troops. Use them to do so. I mean, +20 HP is a very HEFTY bonus. Buy some Grenadiers for anti-mech purposes. Use Snow Speeders and Jedi to take out AT-ATs. And if you're complaining about Rebels... Look at the NABOO! They're just as weak, if not weaker as thier premier land units are horribly vulnerable to cheaper counterunits.
