Lord of the rings,r u a fan ?

Personally I have read only the first book (I know that I must flagellate myself...) but I'm a big fan of "The Wheel of time" which is quite similar to LOTR. Practising the rpg (books) I love all which is close to heroic-fantasy so I was saying to myself (sorry if it doesn't sound very english) that a game like swgb but in that universe would be really great...and just after I realized that WARCRAFT 3 is coming yeaaaahhhhh!

 

I hope I'll see u all on the servers for Warcraft 3.

I love LotR!!! I'm reading the books right now, and I can't WAIT to see the movie! :D But, how many times are we going to have this thread. You could have just used the old LotR thread. . .

well lets just say that i heard a lot of things abot it.... never read the book but the movie looks cool (for what i have seen of it)

I love Lotr! I am reading the series for the third time right now, and I'm almost finished. One of the things I like is that in each book there is a least one really exciting part, like the mines of Moria in FotR, Helms Deep in TTT, and the big battles in RotK.

but my dad who is a harry potter fan read about lotr being similiar to hp and was really interested and immediately bought three books

I'm not a big fan (Too many microdetails in the books) but the movies might be good.
