Compa_Mighty Posted November 2, 2001 Posted November 2, 2001 The best thing about it, is the glimpse of the shield generators, they look so cool, no longer a yellow line, but active energy moving!!!
Guest IonFizzle Posted November 2, 2001 Posted November 2, 2001 Yeah! That WAS neato. Also, how when the sheild gets hit, it kinda flashes but no damage gets through. I love it!
DarthTenor Posted November 2, 2001 Posted November 2, 2001 He he. I thought you saw the episode 2 trailer that's supposed to be showing with Monster Inc. Oh well I guess I'll get a glompse tommorow.
Paragon_Leon Posted November 2, 2001 Posted November 2, 2001 hehe... my thought exactly. i was hoping for a frame-by-frame description of the movie-trailer. but this will suffice. Did you notice if the graphics look better than in the demo ?
Guest dr_death Posted November 2, 2001 Posted November 2, 2001 i am having problems downloading it! i have seen it already but i want to see it again!
Guest jediaoe Posted November 2, 2001 Posted November 2, 2001 it was pretty good but it was too short.
Paragon_Leon Posted November 2, 2001 Posted November 2, 2001 does anyone have it as a downloadable file instead of a pop-up screen ? if so, could you post a link ?
Guest IonFizzle Posted November 2, 2001 Posted November 2, 2001 Hey Leon? Is your problem that the pop up window goes green and messes up? Mine is on this computer. I didnt know how to fix it so i just went to my own personal computer, and not the family one. Not that this helps a whit, but is the green messing up the problem?
Ten-Forward Posted November 2, 2001 Posted November 2, 2001 Paragon_Leon.. Do you EVER sleep? When you sleep, I am awake.. when you are awake, my presence roams these forums..
Eets Posted November 2, 2001 Posted November 2, 2001 Ok, here's a few reasons why I'm convinced that the demo is an early version: 1. The resources are in the wrong order. Look at the screenshots from the demo and the full game. On the demo it goes carbon, food, nova, and ore on the bar. On the full game S.S.'s, it goes FOOD, carbon, nova, and ore. 2. The screenshots are of much better quality graphics for the full game. This is also because we couldn't change the resolution. 3. The way the rebel troopers and mechs walk drive me nuts. There is no doubt in my mind that the developers noticed this too and took steps to change it. Those are just a few of my insane ramblings...
Guest dlayers Posted November 2, 2001 Posted November 2, 2001 Right...this was a demo. There is a reason you buy games on CD. They are just too large to download over slower connections. In demos things are left out because of this reason, and because they don't want to give you the entire game for free. Just 10 more days!!!!
