New name, new plot, new missions, here we go guys.

Missions are as follows:

(between episodes IV-V)

1. Prisoners at Kessel: A large group of prisoners have sent a distress call to the alliance secretly. Your job is to eliminate the grounds resistance near their land speeder so they can escape.

They must be escorted to the landing pad, where they will get a shuttle and you must escort them to the appropriate area on the map.

2. Siege of Bespin: Moff Thisdon, who was the high moff watching Kessel, wants to exact revenge on the Rebel Alliance. He is trying to destroy Tibanna gas containers. If he destroys too many, all is lost. After all fighters are eliminated, leave your x-wings and storm Cloud city, eliminating all resistance.

3. Deadly strike on Yavin: As the last of the Rebels from Yavin are leaving, Moff Thisdon is getting angrier, and is launching a ground attack against the Rebels! You must stop as many of the oncoming attackers for 20 minutes until the transports are fully loaded and ready to go.

4. Assault of Corellia: On a island that is isolated from civilization on corellia, there is a base that needs wiped out. But the odds are against Rogue Squadron this time.Moff Thisdon seems to know you are coming somehow... As they approach the base, Rogue Leader must make a choice. The Odds are definately against Rouge Squadron either way this time...

Those will be the final missions, planet names may change though.

one little thing: a special operations force invades, not the rogues themselves. At the same time, A Super Star destroyer, which will not be seen, will come over the planet, and Luke must land and lead the team so they can access to held rebel ships to fend off the SSD. This sound better, because Fergie said something about rogues don't leave ships. They will escape the star destroyer, and that will be the end of this mission. Instead of a mission pack, I am going to release these one by one.

it's like a fixed force kind of map. You lead rogue squadron through the series of battles, you would have to protect the troops from ground troops they would encounter for the first map, and then when they git their speeder (strike mech), they would escape into a imperial lander, then they would go to a certain spot to win. THat is more fixed force right?

Are you going to change one of the unit's names???

Like you already have Luke and Wedge...then you would make a Generic X-wing, but upgrade it with HP, etc. And you can make it Tycho...

Also 500hp is a bit much...maybe 250 or so...what you don't realize is that most of the fighters with shields can take 2-4 hits from an upgraded AA Gun...they only have about 35 hp + shields!!!!

They would have to have TONS of AA Guns to take you down...and that would be for ONE fighter...but I think you'll realize that when you test it out...

Also you need to realize that if you fight in any type of city you are going to have to fill it to the BRIM with buildings...and doing that takes alot of time...

Have fun WC...you have a great oportunity by creating a totally new perspective of the RPGs...The flying perspective...

Have fun setting a precedent for this new perspective WC...:)

The reason why shields differ from normal HP so much is that its regeneration rate is amazing. A hero or a wookie with regeneration regenerate their HP at 1/8th the rate something regenerate their sheilds, so 250 shields is practically indestructible.

when I get home, I'll do the swoop test ( I will take the fighters I am going to use and pit them against a nice row of advanced towers, normal towers, aa troops (aa troops and normal turrets will be your enemies.)

I am trying to figure out how many rogues I should Use. Probably 3, since in Rogue Leader they are in a 3 man formation. They will be Luke and Wedge, and either Dak, Wes, Hobbie, I will figure it out.

The first mission is on Kessel. There will be only 2 central buildings you must reach: a mech factory (AT-PT) and then a airbase or spaceport (imperial shuttle) I think they will have mugged stormtroopers and got their uniforms. That sound good?

You will also pass by some troops garrisons and kill the garrisons (troop centers) and also pass by the Imperial high command center. (edit)

  • 3 weeks later...

Well, I am already up to the place where they pick up the At-at's. This mission is extremely difficult, like any attempt, it is made realistic. TIEs will attack you too. Your warning is a Woushh... I was not able to let you be neutral, because they would attack the troops.

thanks, rendar. Your name was as good as any to use. I also walled it in, and there will be a part will you must find something to break the wall with (ie you are gonna go find a pummel) After you get the At-PT's and AT-ST's, you are going to fight more troops, because the alarm will be sounding for some time. I'm thinking of letting 2 more rogues join the fray so that there will be more TIES. Also, I found if they get shot, they don't keep walking, so I looped the trigger so that if they stop, you can click on them again and they will move again.
