XiolaBleu
This is the 1st time this has happened, since I DLed a patch to make the game run right before I can get into the game I get this annoying history quiz thing asking me when certain pirates have been hanged. There is no where I can find info as to what answer im supposed to type in so i cant play the game. rather annoying. So yea if anyone has any answers as to what i am supposed to do it would be greatly appreciated.
digl
Im not sure but I think that answers are on the manual Youll probably get more answers if you ask in the escapemi forums
Metallus
If your copy is legit you must contact LEC for copy protection replacement information, as we can't distribute that on these forums.
matt--
That's some kind of piracy protection? clever...
Huz
The patch you're applying is intended for the original release of SoMI, which included this "history quiz" as a form of copy protection. You must be applying it to a later edition (Bounty Pack? Original budget re-release?), so this old copy protection is being re-enabled. I believe the patch documentation states that these later editions don't need patching, as the bugs have been fixed anyway. Reinstalling the game should get it back to "normal", though if "normal" is "non-functional" I can't really help without more detail.

Yep, lots of old games (especially adventures) used to have this. Annoying for most, but effective.
