lodkongol Posted January 9, 2002 Posted January 9, 2002 When I'm building a town/city for a scenario/campaign I get stuck. I don't know what buildings I should use, or I use too many (like ALL). If anyone can help me, or give me tips on town/city making, plz do. Thnx.
Guest Stan|SCN Punk Posted January 9, 2002 Posted January 9, 2002 It depends if you want a civilian city or a military base, and what civilization you are working with.
darthfergie Posted January 9, 2002 Posted January 9, 2002 I know the feeling...I'm designing Corscant on mine...insanely long to place everyone of the buildings individually and then set up the units and then set up the triggers and THEN go back through and double check it and THEN triple check it... as for tips...there really arn't any...just don't put to many of the same building RIGHT next to each other...then it looks really bad...
lodkongol Posted January 9, 2002 Author Posted January 9, 2002 I'm mostly looking for a military base. I am using both the Royal Naboo and the Trade Federation. I just want to know the basics, not the whole thing. I know u have to double check everything, I just don't know how to design one.
Guest Stan|SCN Punk Posted January 10, 2002 Posted January 10, 2002 Well, there really is no rule, except that don't jam all the buildings of the same type into one corner and never have straightlines of any sort. Basically, messier is better than neat.
Crazy_dog no.3 Posted January 10, 2002 Posted January 10, 2002 Coruscant? Just add lots of Bespin buildings, a metal floor, cloud cars and then add lots of structures of the controlling civ.
