It doesnt seem like that in TPM but in the Oringal Trilogy it seems like that. Also what was the deal with Obi Wan's saber in ANH It seems like it was out of batteries.
MikeC Posted February 24, 2002 Posted February 24, 2002 They actually talk about that in some of the books (if I remember correctly I Jedi contains a fair discussion of lightsaber construction). It comes down to the preference of the Jedi that made the lightsaber. Some of them have "safety switches" that must be held down while others have simple toggle switches.
