I remember people arguing, was lightsaber too long already in JK, but eventually it didn't mean much when we got into playing the game. Also books talk about possibility to adjust the lenght of blade, so perhaps there are sabers with different lenghts. I don't think it's possible in the game to adjust it though...

And anyways, a lightsaber is a lightsaber, it dosen't do more damage when it's bigger, just gives u more range. And it's not the size that matters, it's how you use it!

Tie Guy Posted February 25, 2002 Posted February 25, 2002 Well, remember that an "actuall" saber blade is over a meter long. Anyway you look at it, that is a fairly long blade. The blade may look a little long, but thats only because its supposed to be long. There is a reason they don't call it a lightknife. BTW, i think i remember the actuall blade length to be 133cm i'm not sure.

And Adjustible length lightsabers were built for tactical advantage over an opponent, especialy if he or she wasn't expecting it.

Now that would be absolutely hilarious. Both parties clumsily wobble-walk towards each other, sabers clash, both stumble and fall, perhaps twisting an ankle. Repeat as necessary.

I doubt it but will maybe an option for kyle be to adjust his blade length, its very,very unlikely but maybe they have designed a purpose for it because the blade doesnt look as long in the other pics.

Andrewfus_SMC Posted February 27, 2002 Posted February 27, 2002 i saw a cheat on the zone that made the lightsaber almost a mile long (relatively speaking) ill put it like this.. i was standing on one tower in the, crap. the mp level where you fought the floating guy, and he was standing on the roof of the main area. he swung and hit me. pretty funny actually.
