darthfergie
Okay acording to a preview you can have 800 units on the TF side through techs. Do you think this is possible. Why??
TheJackal_jk2
IF that is true, then the units will be very week.

Yes, but it really dosn't matter because TF battle droids would be taking up TONS of the sceen and slowing the game down considerably. TF would be the Zerg if all this happened. I'll wait till the game comes out to see just how much they slow it down...
Guest Tie Guy
We have conclusive evidence from the screenshots that says the troops from the TF are indeed no weaker than the rebel troops at tl1. Unless they changed it recently i do not see how it would work for them to have 800 units that are equally as strong as the rest.

Well then I will enjoy beating you with the TF, Tie They probably changed either the amount of units or the stength of the TF, cause it's too obvious that they will be overpowering. Lord JayVizIon
actually darth, you could be right if you're referring to the TF being the zerg rush....
Paragon_Leon
i suspect we'll end up with 200 as usual.. but if it really is 800....then why on earth not do that with other civs as well ?? Scale ! Scale !
TheJackal_jk2
I think 800 is too much. I'd say 400 or 300. Like the basic battle droid should be like the zerglin. When you build a battle droid, you get two. (or three like starcraft). But of course they die very fast. As for the droid tanks, I suspect they shall be very expensive. Like the huge ultralisk in starcraft again.

darthfergie
From http://www.lucasarts.com/products/battlegrounds/gameinfo.htm Deploy vast legions of units into battle-up to 200 per side- with units that can include bounty hunters, Jedi Knights, stormtroopers, X-wings, AT-ATs, snowspeeders, AT-STs, Wookiee Kas tanks and droids
Lord JayVizIon
kvan, i think he might be mixed up. he may be referring to 3 hydralisks in starcraft.

Guest Master Yoda
I think it will be 200 because If the TF could get 800 droids, things would be ubalanced. ==== ====
Guest SoReFiNgErZ
HAHA! and just think of the micromanagement! all of those would surely be hard to control. and also think of the lag with a 56k modem. you would need a cable or even a T1 to handle that number! I'd say the most logical number would be between 2 and 3 hundred _ _ _ (eh' she deserved it)
