Guest Gold Squadron Leader Posted March 5, 2002 Share Posted March 5, 2002 Hello all, I am getting ready to upgrade my Windows 98SE PC's DirectX version from 7.0a to 8.0a in order to support some newer games of mine. Microsoft states that DirectX is backwards compatible, but I was wondering if anyone experienced any problems running Rogue Squadron with a newer version of DirectX? I'd hate to lose support for one of my favorite games. There is also DirectX 8.1 available. Is it stable enough yet? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
