Silent_Thunder Posted March 7, 2002 Share Posted March 7, 2002 I made (in my mind anyway) a really cool looking avatar, but for some reason I can't seem to get it to meet the requirements. I lowered the size to 69 x 56 pixels (which was a sore blow to me ) in Adobe Photo Shop. I then turned the picture into a JPEG file. It says 12k as the file size. I saved the file under "my pictures". However, whenever I try to upload the picture it says it's too big, and that the file size must be under 20k. I assumed that everything was under 20k, so I went back and checked... when I looked at the properties of my image it says 40k... When I first had the pixture (which was waaaayyy over 69 x 56 pixels) it only said 27k as file size, but now, after I shrink it considerably it gets BIGGER? I tried making the same picture 3 times, and everytime Photo Shop shows my picture to be under 12k, but after I save the picture it shows the picture to be over 40k.
