JediMasterEd Posted March 15, 2002 Share Posted March 15, 2002 the first time i tried that mission, i failed it and went on leave but never recieved a medal.ok, first, take out the gunboats, which should be no problem. when the ISD Avenger arrives, it will pump out Fighters, Interceptors, and bombers. Dog fight with the fighters until the ISD has the Razor in its docking bay. then an escape pod launches, having the computer and a personnel officer in it. now you have to protect the escape pod. then a dreadnaught arrives, the Mercury, and they are friendly. The escape pod will move to the Dreadnaught while the Mercury draws fire from the ISD. you must be careful. the escappe pod, as you might know, takes only one hit to destroy it. when has launched, the TIEs will go after it, so take them out before they get 1.5 km of the pod. when the pod is in the Mercury, it will enter hyperspace to the Independence, and release the pod there. This is when you really need to be careful and know how far you are. Guess who joins the chase? Not the Avenger but the SSD Executor, and it happens all over again. except, when the pod has reached the Independence, TIE Bombers will go after the cruiser so then you'll have to protect that and the Dreadnaught. HINT: DO NOT TRY TO DESTROY THE SSD DUE TO ITS A DANGEROUS WASTE OF TIME! when the Independence hypers out, get outta there as fast as you can to the liberty. then just enter the hanger and thats it. have fun!
