need help with secret level in mots

i read on one of the threads here that there's a secret level in mots. I believe it was the battle between luke and vader in cloud city. If anyone can help me out with finding this level i will be eternally grateful

Step 1: Explore your MotS CD

 

Step 2: Find the file listed as "UNSUPPORTED.ZIP" and copy it to your hard drive.

 

Step 3: Extract the contents to either a subdirectory in your MotS folder (where MotS is installed) or into the Episode folder.

 

Step 4: Write an episode.jk file, using notepad (use conman to crack open some MotS single player levels for hints, by looking at their episode.jk files).

 

The last step confuses some people, but it's really quite easy.

 

Once you're done, fire up MotS and if done correctly, you should have another SP episode to choose!

 

PS: You can also use conman to goo the loose files and then put the goo file in your episode folder and run it like you would any other mod SP level.

A couple of things ...

 

1). The episode.jk file is found on the LucasArts site somewhere in the support section for MotS

 

2). The Bespin level gives you Luke, but not Vader ... for that there is a 'Bespin2' level somewhere ... but I can't recall.

There is a Bespin 2? I have never heard of that. Lucasarts shouldn't have had kyle though, that was dumb I thought, I never got that. If anyone knows about that Bespin 2 level it'd be much appreciated.

Why don't they put in a secret level in JK2?

I don't know about actual secret levels in JK2, but Brett Tosti promised that there will be a lot of secrets and whenever we'll find one, it will contain something special, so it will continue the tradition. I personally would like to see them being placed more realistic this time though and not in weird spots where even Stormies and other opponents can't go like in JK/MotS. Something like locked gun storages(not really necessary to complete the level, but at least helpful in harder difficulty settings and when you otherwise like to go guns blazing through armies of enemies), officers personal rooms and so on.
