In every book it says that stormtroopers are the elite, yet they run away from little teddy bears with sticks. Obi-Wan says "only Imperial Stormtroopers could be so precise.." But they are also stupid. The Ewoks whooped up on the stormtroopers because they used unorthodox battle tactics, as Han Solo did on the Death Star, when rescuing the Princess. When the Empire and it's stormtroopers have a designated target, as on Hoth and the Tantive IV, they cannot be stopped. That is why the Rebellion successfully used strange tactics on Endor, Yavin, and everywhere else. That is why I favor the Rebels.
