I have found the perfect game!!!!

Man I love this game! I was playing today against 3 computers, no teams, and unlocked. I was the Imperials, and I was against the retarded Gungans, Wookies, and Trade Feds. The Trade Fed right away told me to give him stuff or I will regret not giving it to him.......what a fool he was... I AM the Empire!! Anyways he got mad at me and joined the other two who already allied but not until they exchanged a few shots here and there. I scouted the map with a probe droid only to piss off the Wampas as I was playing on Hoth and tried to drive them into my opponents workers...but it did not work too well.

I knew by playing the demo and then the final game, they changed alot, at least to me. I built my base with the usual walls, tons of turrets, AA, and unit facilities. I love the changes done to Air power as they kick butt no matter what, and can whip ground units if they dont have protection. I built about 20 TIEs and upgraded them all the way up to the Defender class and then swept the skies of all aircraft.....the only ones who put up a fight were the rockin Wookies.

After controlling the skies I must have really made the AI mad as it attacked wave after wave of cannons, fighters, infantry of all sorts and the Gungans sent in 4 pummels at a time. They smashed my defenses as it was 3 against 1, but me stockpiling resources made a huge push back. I rang my little command center bell and everyone made a dash for the nearest tower or building. I then had my two troop centers make about 40 Repeater Stormtroopers which rock when they fire. It had them along with 5 Sith Knights hide behind a hill in my base and when the enemy came flooding over they were met with a deadly salvo from my troopers, and then I sent in the Sith to cut their artillery and Fambaa generators to bits. After this they harassed me normally but then they must have probed enough as they found a hole in my wall, and they sent a small squad of artillery and about 8 Pummels from the Gungans on one side and hordes of Wookie infantry and fighters on he other side. Meanwhile the Gungans sent in about 20 infantry through the hole in the wall and really screwed me up.

All in all it took 12 AT-ATs and 25 TIE Defenders to erradicate all three in one assault that I lost 4 walkers and all my TIES, but dng they were tough to beat. 4 hours later and 1100 kills I won.

This has to be one of the best games made. I have not had this much fun since the old Koei games.

Any chance you could upload the recorded game somewhere ? It would be interesting to see how the AI fixes problems compared to AOK.

From the sounds of it, you didn't really attack their main base, which explains why they could come at you in waves like that. It's probably not a response, but their usual timing..

This game does take quite a bit of time.

Especially good multiplayer games.

There were 3 of us in a FFA and we played 3 and Half hours until we all decided to give up because we just kept countering each other, rebuilding, and re-attacking (Naboo vs TradeFed vs Wookies).

(This was under the post tech level 4 setting...which makes things last much longer)

After playing with Trade Fed, Wookies, and Empire...to me it looks like the empire is the most dominate civ.

They seem the easiest at storming and destroying enemy bases.

I had recorded the game but when I went back in to load it, it was gone....any ideas how to get it back? Anyways the TF was busy fighting the wookies and they attacked very well. When you attack their bases it looks to me the AI tries to recall forces to help defend. It was a great game, but the Gungans have a problem with Faamba generators running around with nothing following them. I will see if I can find that recorded game.

Another thing I wanted to point out thats different than AOK....when I attacked the other night with 13 AT-ATs which is in the recorded game I cannot find, I had air cover and stormtroopers inside the walkers, but the computer never gave up until everything was leveled, they sent everything they had, and many battle droids and wookies and gungan troopers made valiant last stands against my tide of doom. AOK they usually gave up if you blew up enough stuff and said something dumb about birds flying too high.

Alright I found my recorded game of my fun, and so far only random map as I have been doing the campaigns again after alittle fun with skirmish. But my question is this......now that I have my recorded game back how and where can I upload it so others can see it without them having the game?????

I just came from playing DarkReign 2 online :( and MechCommander 2. I must say this is a refreshing change from those games. More so DR2 cause of all the whiney loser crybabies that play that game. As a RTS and Star Wars fan its like a wet dream come true.

There goes what little life I had.

Let me know when it's summer again cause that when I might be bored with this game.

Let hope for some expansion packs!

An expansion pack should be in the works as me, and three other people from work have the game and many others are enjoying it as well. But we are just gonna have to wait till they release the next movie.
