Dam ok i did what you said now iam getting an error that says that there are no free entities. It really sucks too because i cant spawn that many guys before i get this error. What should i do and what the hell does this error mean?

I can't get this summon thing to work. Here are all of my keystrokes in the console, precisely:

 

\devmap duel_pit

\npc spawn stormtrooper

 

I get this message:

unknown cmd npc

 

?? What am I doing wrong?

 

By the way, this is in MP. I got it to work in SP, but I think doing this with friends on the LAN would be more fun.

Ok I already brought the console up and typed 'devmapall' and

'npc spawn rebornboss'

when I said ncp before it was a typo

it is REALLY more fun to play with npcs that with those bots.

When I access the console and type in any cheats in single player, I get the message: CHEATS ARE NOT ENABLED ON THIS SERVER. What is up with this? I bring up the console, type give all, then hit enter, and then I get that message

I figured out the cheats but I need a walkthrough for the first level. I get to that chasm area, and destroy those 2 overhead robotic lasers, but then I am stuck. Is there a switch somewhere?

And when I do devmap, it requires me to enter a map name, cheats are enabled, but NPC is still a bad command?

For the guy who posted last... try not putting the \ before npc... that might help...

 

and for that other guy who can't get npc to work in MP... it's not an MP command! The 2 websites that told me about this tread (jediknightii.net / massassi.net) distinctly said that it was an SP thingy.

Um... to put an NPC in MP, wouldn't you just Add a bot? I've never cheated in MP but cheats are only supposed to work for the server. >.<
