Guest Dragosani
Hi all - first post to the forum but I've been following it for some time in the build up to GB being released in the UK. Just a quickie - how many discs should there be in the case? I've got two but the disc holder thing has '3' written on it. The contents of the box were loose - added by the EB staff when I purchased it today. Sorry about the stupid question - just thought I'd check in case I need to return it tomorrow.... Guest Dragosani
Many Thanks for your prompt reply darthfergie. Now it's time to get it loaded and get trained up so I can be humiliated in multiplayer
Guest DOOMHAMMER
There are 2 disks with the game: the install and the play disk. If it's a 3 disk case it's probably just what they had on hand to stick it in. For example: Diablo II had 3 disks in a 4 disk case. It's all about convenience for the shippers. darthfergie
Hello DOOMHAMMER...durring Rhett's absence I've been tricked into handing out gift baskets... *gives DOOMHAMMER secret member's only gift basket* I'm not sure I remember that for diablo II...of course I didn't notice it because I was playing but anyway... BTW, I just looked at my GB case and on the edge it says 2 CD...did you get yours from the UK or something? maybe they shiped it different over there... Guest Dragosani
Mine is the UK version - no mention of the number of discs on the side. Thanks for the welcome everyone - what a happy forum this is. After joining the Operation Flashpoint forum a few months ago I forgot what its like to be part of a community that doesn't just moan and complain. I'm still trying to get my head around the game though... I've never played AOE so this is all new to me. There's just too much to remember to do. My strategy at the moment seems to be: get the workers working, build some troops, send em into action, forget the workers aren't working anymore, forget to build anything, get em all killed. Start again.
Guest SlashAndBurn
Dragosani Yeah that was my strategy at first when playing gmaes like AOE. Takes a few times but the resource management will become easier with time. And welcome!
