Guest isthisfor_real
I too have this problem what you need to do is open up a couple ports. I do not know the ports off the top of my head but I would not recommened you open them because one of them is port 80 a very common one. To find the other ports go to lucasarts tech support or the games readme one of them has the other ports you need to open. Once again I would not recommned you open it and I must tell everyone what retards(zone or lucasarts) are for making it where you have to open up a very common port. I choose not to open it. darthfergie
If you mean Hosting no most firewalls don't let you host, but I use zonealarm and something else and they let me play GB if I join games...if you can't join games...well then who knows... BTW, there is always an option to turn off a firewall...you just need to know the password...that is unless you have a cheap firewall...if that is the case just uninstall the sucker and download Zone Alarm... Guest isthisfor_real
Zone Alarm is just not good enough for me and no their is NO option to cut off my firewall it is permenant for as long as their is power for it and thats not a problem because I have a nice little backup power supply to my computer. My firewall is not a program like zone alarm but it is hardware that can not cut off just like I like it:)

darthfergie
Why in the world did you get a firewall like that??? Zone Alarm is free and is a high quality firewall... I really don't know what to say exept you got ripped off on that firewall if it's settings arn't customizable...I havn't dealt with those machines before so I couldn't say...If you have played other games online though it should work... A hardware firewall offers far greater protection than software sitting on your pc, it's standard practice with quality internet service providers to supply decent protection - it protects them as the isp and the user - they clearly didn't think about gaming however what you guys could try is something like gatekeeper - http://www.gatekeeper.com I think, I believe you can adjust which ports are accessible or not through it. Gatekeeper was the name of the "securtiy" program that gave the makers access to everything on the users computer, which they then went and changed a womans ID and made her a criminal when she found out about it. So, i would think that the name wouldn't be gatekeeper, but i guess the makers never saw "The Net"
