Guest Scottie Posted November 26, 2001 Posted November 26, 2001 I played the demo and wasn't impressed at all. The graphics are old late 90's stuff, and it was riddled with bugs. Some of the various soldiers would practically walk past each other before engaging in combat. This was supposed to be a better real time game that Force Commander, but I'm not convinced so far. Someone tell me what I'm missing ?

R5D4 Posted November 28, 2001 Posted November 28, 2001 The Idea of Force Commander was really cool but they changed along the way from 2D to 3D and that was the thing that killed the gameplay and fun. (my opnion) So i didn't bought the game (unfortunately). BG is much better than FC.

Guest Set Posted November 28, 2001 Posted November 28, 2001 Allright Now I know i am going to get The flames from hell latched on to me for this however, i have to say if you give force commander a chance play through a bunch o missions it is really kind of fun. Plus there are some really cool things which you cannot do in GB, such as :Firing with maximum firepower and killing anything with an AT-AT, Stealing an AT-AT with Rebel Commandoes,Laying mines everywhere on a hillside than positioning a Torpedo launcher on top and watching the fun begin, Taking down an AT-AT with the towwcable of a snow speeder..... A lot more than i will list so Just give it a chance the graphics i thought were at least decent, and the controlls you learned. Peace

Influenza Posted November 28, 2001 Posted November 28, 2001 Scottie: as someone who absolutely hated the demo, I can honestly tell you to go buy this game. It's very fun to play. It may not be spectacular, but it's still a hell of a lot better than the demo was, and much better than a lot of the games out there right now.
