You cant kick the rebel butt because of their fighters and their jedi. I think the jedi cost should be lower but anyway.... You cant beat them.

Not just who uses them, but how you use them, there are so many options there is no way that one civ is the more dominant overall take their jedi for example, just because their jedi are better than say, the gungans doesn't mean that their jedi will win make the rebels win, not when you have the likes of bounty hunters - and aircraft will come down with enough AA units, it's all about the units that counter each other, and for every unit there is a counter - it's just a case of finding an equilibrium that works to your advantage ;)

I agree with Kudar I am not an expert player but I

have beaten a mate in a 1v1 him with rebel's, me with Gungan's,

the Rebel's are good but far from unbeatable guy's ;)

The Naboo are very "sophisticated" ....

They don't have units that you send into the midst of battle and afterwards look what happened !

Instead, both Jedi (Masters) and Air are units can you have to control constantly , which leads to great results if used correctly ...

(The autor of this post doesn't want to imply that ppl who don't like Naboo are ugly savages ...;) )

Jedi require a lot of micromanagement to be used effectivly, but can be devestating when they are. I think they cost way to much to be used half assed, so I don't use Jedi much :) Air units are only good if they have shields. Even then I don't make them the backbone of my army because they're to easily countered, but they make excelent support and quick response units.

When I play the Rebels I end up using troops as my backbone unit because they're cheap and very effective in large numbers. People always ignore or underestimate troops until there's 40+ of them in your town.

Yeah, i never use jedi much either. The just as much if not more than ATATs or other assault mechs, and are overall much more effective and usefull. Sure, a jedi might be able to beat an ATAT 1v1, but how often does that actually happen in a game, never. So, for the resources, the ATAT is much more effective, and you might as well have 20 ATATs rather than 20 Jedi Masters.

I agree with what you're all saying but is it really better to have 20 AT-AT rather than Jedi masters??? Jedi masters have the most influenicing effect in the Game!! (If used correctly of course). The ability to take something from your enemy and use it against him is invailable. Plus the ability to Cloack How cool is that?? Just picture, you're bathing in your glory of overtaking a naboo base. then all of a sudden, you see 15 jedi masters come out of nowhere. Now, you realize that you've suddenly lost all your unit's, and your own units are killing your base. How depressing is that?? this is all IMO of course!! :p

Cup_A_Jabba what you're talking about doesn't happen much. Cloaking is countered by the many dector units in the game. Such as scouts, probots, bounty hunters, turrets, frigates, dark troopers and other jedi with the perception upgrade. Both the Empire and TF have jedi/sith purge which means your units die instead of being turned. Only three civs have good jedi and if your playing one of them any good opponent will be ready for a jedi attack. Bounty Hunters are cheaper and are created faster than jedi, plus they're a good overall unit so a lot of players build them as part of their army instead of troops.

Even with all that against them the jedi can be a great unit. They just take a lot of work to be used effectively. You can't just send them in and kick some ass like you can with AT-ATs.

20 Jedi masters??? I would take that over 20 assault mechs any day. Air drop them in the enemy base, and in 1 minute the enemy base would be your base. Whilst I agree Jedi/Sith require more micromanagement, a well planned jedi assault will have great affect.
