COJ Posted April 14, 2002 Posted April 14, 2002 I just realized that the Ninja Turtles are teenagers!!! i though they were like 25 years old!! and I saw this arcade, and it was saying how they were, then i saw there age!! and figure why they were teenagers!! god im so dumb, oh well, my friend didnt know and found out with me!! wehhee
Natty Posted April 14, 2002 Posted April 14, 2002 Ummmmm Griswold? that's why they were called Teenage[/] Mutant Ninja Turtles. They were just wee lil pet turtles before they went swimming in the ooze and mutated into the turtles we now know them as. As for Splinter, he was origionally human, except he got cross mutated with a rat (duh)
Robin Johnson 2 Posted April 14, 2002 Posted April 14, 2002 Lets not delve too far into the world of lil childrens programs. It's just not worth discussing on this high grade site.
Natty Posted April 14, 2002 Posted April 14, 2002 Ummmmm Robin- the majority of us on here are TMNT fans, besides, if you don't like the fact we talk about them sometimes, it's not like you gotta read the posts on the Turtles
COJ Posted April 14, 2002 Author Posted April 14, 2002 Originally posted by Natty Ummmmm Griswold? that's why they were called Teenage[/] Mutant Ninja Turtles. Well, yeah, I never realized they were teenage, until yesterday!! I feel like I made a big step in my life......
Joshi Posted April 14, 2002 Posted April 14, 2002 actually, there's something there that confuses me about splinter. in the cartoons, they say that he was cross mutinated with a rat, right, but in the movie, it says that he was once a rat who learned martial arts from his master. when his master was killed by the shredder, he went in the ooze as well as the turtles adn that's how he is now. which ones the real story!?
Joshi Posted April 14, 2002 Posted April 14, 2002 i thought the first one might be right, movies of great comic books or cartoons always get it wrong. look at, um, Inspector Gadget. Matthew Brodrick was completly the wrong person to play that. he was nothing like the cartoon series. and don't get me started on Scooby Doo.
Kjølen Posted April 14, 2002 Posted April 14, 2002 In the old cartoons about 7 years ago, it showed that rat going into the ooze with the turtles, it didnt show a human....this Splinters thing is like the MI2 deal:rolleyes: .
Joshi Posted April 14, 2002 Posted April 14, 2002 yeah, but loads a people believe it to be the first story about him being a human first because that's what they grew up with, but the second story, the one in the movie, sounds more plausible. i'm confused.!
