Darth_Lando
LOL buying a GF4 from Best Buy could be bad for your health! Another reason to get a R8500 just kiddin'. Anyone remember the day Best Buy erroneously priced the GF4 (a $399 card) for $199? Well Best Buy arrested a man seeing if they would honor the price!!!!!!! http://www.theinquirer.net/24040208.htm
KordKelly
On the subject of GF4 pricing, PC Club has a GF4MX, 64MB DDR RAM, with the ACS cooling system for $89.99. I think I read somewhere that the MX models are not as 'powerful' as the others. My question : Is $90.00 a good price for this card? Thankies in advance. Fyunch Click
the MX series isn't Directx 8.1 compliant and doesn't use the new geforce technology so I would say no. especially when you can currently pick up a Geforce 3 ti200 for the same price point. Darth_Lando
The GF4mx's are fast, but they are directx 7! The same directx version as the GF2 line!!! Personally, I would stick with only directx 8 cards (GF3, GF4, R8500) and not even look at anything else. Of course that is just me. I like to have all the eye candy I can get. There may be ONE version of the GF4mx which is directx 8 but I can't verify that. Maybe someone else can.
OnlyOneCanoli
I personally think GF4 MX's are a waste of money. And that's a very funny story.

Forhekset
Actually they dropped the price to $129, not $199. And yeah, he ought to sue. Here's a link to a Slashdot post with a comment by the guy who actually got arrested: http://slashdot.org/articles/02/04/24/1818210.shtml?tid=
