Master_Cobain
Hi all Two points today... 1) I have the solution to anyone who gets the Cannot Load OpenGL Subsystem error message and has tried all the recommended stuff to fix it... I found that if you go onto the cd and go into Gamedata/Gamedata folder, theres are executable files for single player and multi player (you can tell by the icon if nothing else)... although my installed version refuses to run multiplayer, running it from there DOES work... copying the folder to your computer also works... hope this helps some people who were as frustrated as I was for ages 2) Can someone talk me through how to get the dual lightsaber in Devmap mode? Someone said to run devmap and then type /Thedestroyer, but it sais 'cheats are not enabled on this server'. So how do you activate cheats on a multiplayer server? Cheers all,
teleguy
It works only if you create a server but not if you join one. Open console and type devmap mapname ( for example devmap ffa_bespin ) .
Master_Cobain
Thanks but it doesn't seem to make a difference... I've been trying it on my own servers not other peoples (cheating in a proper game is just nasty ) Oh well, cheers anyway... anybody else got an idea? teleguy
Did you type "devmap ffa_bespin" ? You should get a "Serverstart" -message and the level should load with cheats enabled. Then you have to select your saber (with 1 ) and turn it off (again with 1 ). Now activate console and type "/thedestroyer" , if that doesn't work try "\thedestroyer" . |GG|Carl
Do EXACTLY like this: 1.Start a multiplayer game. 2.Select lightsaber and turn it off (Press 1 twice). 3.Activate console. 4.type devmap [mapname] (for example: devmap ffa_bespin). 5.Turn the saber off and type /THEDESTROYER into the console. 6.Now you shall have a duoble bladed lightsaber! (I've never said that the "double saber" is good or something, actually, it sucks!)
Andy867
Actually, the OPENGL subsystem error is caused by video driver issues. The game reports that error when it can either not find the opengl32.dll file, or the file is out of date for the standard OpenGL 1.3 compliance.
