LukA_YJK
Dear STAR WARS: ROGUE SQUADRON fans ! I am pleased to present my utility for replacing the missions - ROGUERAT 1.0 ! Using this small utility you can • Easily edit your data file to replase any mission with another including Introduction with Logos • With the same easiness restore default mission data • Honour me personally by using an application written by me This is the first realisation and is not tested enough, so now it is at TEMPORARY page. Please if you found any bugs (or did not find any) do not hesitate to contact me. Actually I already made an utility called ROGUEARM for replacing the Ambush at Mos Eisley with any Speeder level to try also other crafts there and released it 'inofficially' in March 27, 2001 at RogueSquadron.Net Community Forums. But then I decided that this title suits the new utility for changing the weapon power more. So now it has a new title - ROGUERAT. Thanks to all Forum members for support and inspiring me to make it for all missions. Special thanks to: Rogue15, Redwing, Keiran_Halcyon, Darksaber, Gold Squadron Leader. ROGUERAT is absolutely free, but if you want to distribute it please make sure you include all files from the original zip-file. You may want to send me a postcard, I just like to receive postcards and did not receive any for a long time Thank you and May the Force be with you ! LukA_YJK
Keiran_Halcyon your computer is all right ! It's my utility once again... I just noticed that the data.dat file of different localized versions are slightly different. I have German version, but the RogueRat works fine, because the level data was not changed there. I need info about structure of data.dat in Spanish version. So get the draft version of RogueDat at http://rogue.squadron.tripod.com/_temp/RogueAmo.zip Aargh Tripod permits remote download so I'll send it you by e-mail. Click File-Open and locate your data.dat file then simply exit the utility. There must be a new address.txt file in the same directory with data.dat. Please, send it to me till the end of this week... Rogue9 really glad to see you I'm alive meanwhile as you see. Hope everything is going to be all right... Now I must go... LukA_YJK
Greeting Rogues ! At last I fixed RogueRat and now it is working with Spanish version ! Special thanks to our Keiran_Halcyon for hard working with initial tests and detailed bug info. Owing him I decided to make RogueRat multilingual: English-Spanish-German. So I need your help here... 1. Keiran_Halcyon I have few questions: You wrote Substitute mission -> Misión sustituta Maybe it is substituta ? Also I doubt that the name of my country Azerbaijan is same in Spanish can you check it up ? And you are right, I am going to put your data in the version1.1 history file By the way, the DEFAULT button supposed to restore original level data only for the current mission. Otherwhise to restore every changed mission you would click Next/Prev 10 times (max). Now to reset all missions you can push [ Up ] button and click DEFAULT 20 times (max). Maybe I should make RESET and RESET ALL instead the DEFAULT in the next version 2. Rogues, I need somebody from Germany to translate the following messages to German: >Welcome to the RogueRat ! >Restore original mission data >Save all made changes >Visit the RogueRat website >Exit to the desktop >Original mission >Substitute mission >Explanation line >Next mission [ Up ] >Previous mission [ Down ] >Next mission [ Right ] >Previous mission [ Left ] >5th of May 2002 >LukA. Araz. Baku. Azerbaijan 3. Oh my good Rogue15, I just noticed your message in the Help/Feedback Forum I really appreciate it, you are a real friend ! But my post count was only about 192-200 before my account was wiped out after my stupid, unrestained action. I was going to ask them to restore my account, but now I think that anyway I'm posting rarely and your friendly support does not depend on my rank, regalia or privleges. It is more valuable for me... Hey ! Dark Sad Shadow, nice to see you ! Didn't you marry Devil Doll yet ? How are you ? Have finished your studies, haven't you ? I heared that you are working at a local radio station... Aargh ! I have to go now... BUENA SUERTE Y QUE LA FUERZA TE ACOMPAÑE !
Keiran Halcyon
Well you can say 'substituta' or 'sustituta', but 'substituta' is more 'archaic', now you can use both but 'substituta' sounds more C-3PO's way ( pedant ). Language evolution. Nowadays almost anyone uses that. And Luka, you were right, your country in Spanish is called: Azerbayán. Bye and May the force be with you! (hey, how do you say it in russian?) Redwing
I don't know @ Luka: Sounds good Is "Azerbajian" the same in English? Or does it change?
LukA_YJK
Keiran_Halcyon gracias muchos ! Sorry if it is wrong I'm trying to say "thanks very much" ! I choosed C-3PO way if you don't mind... And regarding your question, I am not russian but know Russian good enough, because my country was occupied by Soviet Russia in 1920 and during a long period Russian was the official language here. But we took our Freedom back in 1991 again. It costs my people 20% of Motherland and many thousands of lives... You can ask RedRussian although I think he is not russian Redwing Azerbaijan is in English. In original almost the same, only 'e' is pronounced as 'a' in 'bad'...
