checkmate
Zak256 seems to have disappeared, or something. I go to their web site (http://www.zak256.com), and my browser says it doesn't exist. I really want those game files, because ScummVM (scummvm.sourceforge.net) recently made Zak completable. Is there a place to get the Zak LFLs now? Thanks. Metallus
You should maybe ask in the AdventureDeveloper forums...they might know better over there.
checkmate
Isn't it convenient how when you post a reply on a thread, the thread link is automatically moved to the top of the thread page? I post a reply, moving it to the top of that thread page, and somebody else gives a response within about 2 minutes. People pay more attention to the links near the top of the thread page. Let's see if something similar happens at AdventureDeveloper.
Metallus
I just hope some people are still alive over there .
checkmate
Still no response...did somebody get the Zak files before zak256.com went out? I did once, then reformatted my hard drive. I've lost it.
SirPsycho
checkmate, what files are you looking for? I think I once downloaded all the available files from this site. You name it, I'll probably find it. Don't hesitate to mail me - iv@barak-online.net Igor

DasJan
Zak256 is alive! I contacted the programmer yot and he said that he will make it into an open source project (see my last post for URL). It will also have translations into 5 or 6 different languages and yot is planning to develop an adventure game creation system for SCUMM games! Read the complete German news at Adventure-Treff.de. Darnn
So, basically, while we can't download the illegal files anymore, we will be able to download them, as soon as they've translated them into five or six different languages... Is that it?
DasJan
No. They will provide a speech patch for the not downloadable files of the game. But you'll know that all not downloadable files are downloadable at not legal places... Das Jan
