DeFrio
I would like to see venom but I think it will probably be the HobGoblin since I think thats thats who Harry becomes. Doc Oct would be cool but it has been confirmed it will not be him

Cobalt60
Green Goblin was a rich coporate tycoon (Norman Osborn), who invented a serum that would make himself super-human .. but as a side effect it also made him insane. He rides around on a flying scooter, he wears a green mask, and he throws pumkin bombs. He gets killed in the comics (and in the movie). Hobgoblin was an investigative reporter from the Daily Bugle (Ned Leeds), who discovered Osborn's secret hideout and stole all his equipment. He wants to be the next green goblin , so he takes on Spiderman and gets his ass kicked. He wonders how the hell Osborn managed it. Then he discovers the serum. He becomes superhuman.. but as a side effect it also makes him insane. He rides around on a flying scooter, he wears a yellow mask, and he throws pumkin bombs. He gets killed in the comics (during a 'Spiderman vs. Wolverine' graphic novel which takes place in East Germany before the wall came down, but thats another story) p.s. afterwards and years later , Harry also discovers (one of) his father's secret hideouts, and he becomes the second green goblin (but Harry's not the hobgoblin)
Vestril
No, Harry becomes the Green Goblin as well. The Hobgoblin is someone else entirely. I'm thinking Doc Ock would be the best player for the next one, maybe get some Black Cat in there so Spidey can have some competition and booty

Vestril
D'oh...I'm an idiot, I guess I left that window open too long. Norman Osbourne comes back in the comics, after getting 'killed' in the same way
ShockV1.89
I think they're gonna do Doc Ock and Shocker as the 2nd episode villains, and Venom is lined up for the third. Imagine what they could do with Venom by the time the third is here. As it is, it woudl look amazing, but by then... >drool< ShockV1.
Star ReaVeR
I want Venom and carnage in part 2, come on that would rock!!!!! one of my other favorite villains would be the Scorpion or the Shocker, would be boring to have another goblin in part 2.. It was actually a businessman by the name of Kingsley (cannot remember his first name for hte life of me) He framed and killed Ned Leeds who was the husband of one Betty Brant. I think Harry will be the bad guy in Spider-Man 2. But there will be another. Possibly The Lizard (he was mentioned in passing (ie Dr. Connors) in the Spider-Man movie)

At the moment, Norman has just screwed him out of his holdings and he's on a tropical island relaxing
Jedi_Monk
I'd like to see Venom and Carnage in a Spiderman movie, too... but then they'd have to bring in the whole alien suit thing... and that might be too far-out since they seem to be trying to keep Spider-man on the realistic side of impossible
Cobalt60
Kingsley was a mercenary (not a businessman). originally, Kingsley was a villian named "Jack O'Lantern" who had a very similar M.O to the hobgoblin. Kingsley flew around on a flying disc (not a scooter), he wore a flaming pumpkin on his head (like the headless horseman), and he throws pumpkin bombs (just like the goblin) OK well, Kingsley got into a bit of a rivalry with the hobgoblin (Ned Leeds) because they both worked for the same super-baddie (or something) Kingsley had Ned Leeds killed (in East Germany, during a Spiderman vs. Wolverine graphic novel that takes place before the wall came down, but thats another story) then Kingsley STOLE all of Ned Leeds' hobgoblin equipment.. ..and Kingsley becomes Hobgoblin#2 (but the original Hobgoblin was Ned Leeds) ((trust me))

I have an issue at home with Kingsley as a businessman, and it shows his origins, his fight with Spidey where Normans journals were burned. It also says that Ned Leeds was framed and murdered. I'll look into it.

D.L.
I know this is true. The Green Goblin(s) were Norman Osborne and Harry Osborne The Hobgoblin(s) were, as far as the info here goes, Ned Leeds and Kingsley
Cobalt60
in "Web of Spiderman #29" after Ned Leeds' funeral, it is explained that Ned was the hobgoblin, and that he was working with a crimelord called 'The Rose' a.k.a. Richard Fisk (the Kingpin's son) in an effort to topple the Kingpin's criminal empire. but during this episode, another hobgoblin emerges. he keeps calling Ned "my predecessor" and he tries to kill Richard Fisk ..we find out later (not sure which episode) that this new hobgoblin is actually a mercenary named "Jason Philip Macendale" (this is NOT the businessman Kingsley ; I'm sorry about that mistake) who had been the villian known as "Jack O'Lantern" .. OK well .. this guy Macendale killed Ned Leeds out of jealousy and took his place as Hobgoblin. and then .. to make things even more confusing.. during the 1988 Marvel crossover-event called "Inferno" this guy Macendale makes a deal with a demon from hell , and he becomes a true goblin. for REAL. in 'Web of Spiderman' #48 he gets turned into a demon himself . after this issue , he's not human anymore, and he needs no mask (because his face ~really~ looks that way ; I mean, the guys a DEMON, right?) ((anyways, I'm not sure what ultimately happened to this guy 'Macendale' , and I'm not sure who this guy "Kingsley" is , or how Kingsley became the hobgoblin)) ((maybe somebody else on this board can finish the story..?)) D.L.
HEre's a link but it contradicts everything in my comic. http://www.spiderfan.org/characters/villains/hobgoblin4.html According to the one I have the Hobgoblin got his powers from the same formula Norman did only he changed it so he woulnd't go insane. I'll get the Comic number tomorrow. Also The Rose (the new one) is now Jake Conover. Though he was Fisk before his death.

DeFrio
i wish spider man stayed with his black spider man suit he was alot cooler with it He probably would have, but he found out it was trying to become one with him and control him. He got rid of it at a church. The suit hid there till Eddie Brock went there to pray before he killed himself. The suit sensed him and they became venom. Its all in the site D.L. gave a link to.
