I caught the Buffy the Vampire Slayer on TV last night... great episode! And a bunch of SW references, too! Anyway, while I was watching Willow going psycho on her friends and the Trio, I literally just kept thinking "Woah, she's a freakin' Sith Lords!" Really, she tore Warren's skin right off his body! See, that's the kind of thing I want to see the Sith do in SW3--I mean, they're evil, they're the SW equivilent of vampires and warlocks and demons all rolled into one! They're terrifying creatures of the night!

Lucas should really put that element more in the fore of SW3, considering how dark it's supposed to be.

Loved the line "... and none of you have the midichlorians to stop her..." (in reference to Willow)

A lot of people didn't care for this season too much. I personally thought it was pretty good. Lots of "real-world" drama and problems... well as real as you can get for a show about a vampire slayer. Even if some of the episodes did drag a bit (that birthday episode first comes to mind), that finale more than made up for it.

I read spoilers up the wazoo and I was still surprised by Gile's entrance and the ending when Spike getting his soul back.

I'm willing to bet he's not just getting his soul back, but he's being de-vamped as well. He said "return me to my former self" which either meant "Spike with no chip" or "Human William Spike"... Spike was never "Spike with a soul" formerly.

"Return me to my former self so Buffy can get what she deserves." What does she deserve? A partner with a soul that loves her.... which he couldn't fully do previously because he was still an evil demon.

My bets are on "Human Spike"

I dunno, I've been watching this season off and on and have been taking it in stride. Some of it's been good, some bad, some so so but its just like any other TV show, you take it as it comes.

But the whole thing LAST episode with the gun just totally pissed me off. When I saw the BULLET hit, and I knew who it was gonna REALLY hit as soon as it was pulled out, I turned the TV off.

Its BUFFY! There are no BULLETS in buffy! If there where BULLETS in buffy then why isn't the scooby gang all 12 gauge shotguns with slugs to put vamps down for staking? Why do they go out with axes and swords and knives and crossbows? 'Cause there are no BULLETS in Buffy They should never have had 'any' BULLETS of 'any' kind in Buffy. Gah, there are BULLETS in this world that would turn a vampire into so much moldy hamburger meat.

Plus I liked Terra more then any other character :(

Suffice to say I didn't bother to watch last episode with 'Freaky out Willow' (who used to be my favorite character before they turned her into a drug addict) so I can't really comment on the episode other then to say "No BULLETS in Buffy the Vampire Slayer!"

Serious!! Willow would be like:

'You think you all that, b!tch??'

and Yoda would be all

'Own you, I will'

and then Mr. T would come in and adjudicate.

Well, I would watch Buffy more often if there were more bullets in the show. It might be my Hunter: The Reckoning and Vampire: the Masquerade RPG background, but getting one-on-one with a vampire, armed only with a fake-looking axe, is just plain silly.

*aims with his Colt .45 "Dragonbreath Phosphor"... whoosh*

(Or it might just be that I dream to be the sniper, who is taking out either Buffy or those weird Charmed bit... eh, witches.)

yeah and he'd be like:

"i pity the fool who thinks they can own Mr T!"

and he'd get two drain pipes and a water pistol and turn them into a machine gun and then shoot willow and yoda! :D

No bullets in Buffy? What about the Assassin disguised as a cop? What about Spike and his shotgun (though he never used it)? And lets not forget the big shootout at the end of season 4! And Terra's a planet, not a lesbian wicca character.

I liked it. In a world where superchick kills beasties with pointy sticks and swords, her mortality is really driven home by taking a bullet. Despite her having died a few times already, of course...

So, Spike gets his soul back...that's a surprise, I have to admit. Yet, I shall continue to hope that Buffy dies, for the last time, at the end of the final season. And Spike's the one to kill her. And the Watcher's Council use their influence to get Faith out of prison and back to work.

I fail to see the big deal about SMG. Eliza's nose is far prettier. :p

I think they finally used a gun just to shock us. I mean, all this time, she really hasn't gotten shot at, it's been all kinds of other weird stuff. It was just meant to piss us off, I think. Yeah, and I'm sad Tara died.... oh well
