matt--
I'm thinking that maybe Dooku kills Mace. But than who kills Dooku? Maybe Yoda does, Obi...but I've got my money on Anikan finishing off the count. Maybe Anikan knocks away Dooku's saber and has him cornered...then just as Kenobi comes in, Anikan kills him. Anikan snaps and attacks Obi-Wan. That's a lot of sabering.
Cow_JK:O
Well, according the the way the Sith works, Anakin must kill Dooku and take his place under Palpatine.
NemoX
Boba will likely be too young to kill Mace so what if he gets help from Anakin/Vader. Anakin could fight Mace and as he is about to finish him he stops and turns it over to Boba...who promptly blasts him to Jedi Heaven.
OldSkoolJedi
Ok, There Can Only Ever Be 2 Sith Right ? Anakin Supposivly "sees" the power of the dark side when either, A) Dooku Kills A Powerful Jedi, OR B) Sidious Kills Mace I Think It'll Be B That Way Anakins All Like "Hey A Sith Killed The 2nd Most Powerful Jedi" And Then He Wants To Be A Sith, So Sidious Is All Like "Hey, You Gotta Kill Dooku To Join Me etc. etc." Anakin Kills Dooku, Joins The Sith, Obi-Wan Is All Like "hey, Anakins A Sith Now, I Gotta Kill Him" POSSIBLE SPOILER - - - Obi And Anakin Fight, Anakin Falls Into Pit And Is Saved By Sidious YadaYadaYada. OldSkoolJedi
Course, This Is All Merely Speculatiom, Part From The Spoiler Bit, That Was oN Star Wars Site A Coupla Years ago (Lucas Will Probably Change It)
ValorXII
"A) Dooku Kills A Powerful Jedi, OR B) Sidious Kills Mace" Couldn't it be that Dooku kills Mace though? I think Yoda will kill Dooku personally.

Jarrodo Malachi
You all think Boba gets to mace in ep III. i think that will never happen in this movie. i don't even need to get into the details because all the good points have been covered aready. so i leave you all with a different idea....a question that crossed my mind while yoda was battling Dooku. If lucas let go of yodas battle leash why can't we see Sideous/Palatine kick some jedi tail. Right now he looks like a punk to me. manipulating puppets from behind his high horse position. in ep 6 after Luke totally disses him and leaves him high and dry do you see him take some sort of action. and even then luke couldn't defend himself because he threw away his saber. What i want to see is Sideous reveal himself to the counsel at his moment of victory. and him flatten mace and the others like sissys. or 1. yoda vs Sideous 2. Mace vs Dooku 3. Obi-wan vs Anakin
ValorXII
Well if you believe Sam J. then Anakin kills Windu.
Exar Kun II
i think Mace will kill Dooku because they have a history as friends and George likes friends kiling friends in SW. The betrayal theme is the center priece of his stories. After Dooku is defeated, Anakin fights Windu, just as anakin slays Windu, Obi Wan runs in screams NOOOOOOO! and attacks Anakin and the duel is on! i can't see Sidious picking up a lightsaber to battle Windu. He's a behind the scenes manipulator, not a warrior.

I suspect we'll see Sidious in action in the next one...mainly because Lucas likes to parallel the movies, and in the End of 6 the Emperor does his thing after having been a shadowy figure before that. Maybe not, but it does seem likely that he will play a more front scene role.

Kind of ironic. there were no black characters in Episode IV. However you have black characters in Episode 1 and 2.

This is what I've come up with so far for parallels: Ep II and Ep V = Love interest Ep I and Ep IV = ending scenes similar Ep II and Ep V = ending scenes similar All episodes = someone gets severed... I - Maul (cut in half), II - Anakin (arm), III - Anakin (other body parts), IV - Ponda Baba/Walrusman (arm), V - Luke (hand), VI - Vader (hand) Grrr... I had a whole big list of em... But now I can't remember so many... Oh yeah, and perhaps jabba'll be in III... he's in I, IV SE, and VI after all...

Jedi_Monk
There's something a russian writer said about foreshadowing: "If you show a gun in the beginning of your story, it had better have gone off by the end." I'm paraphrasing, of course. Anyway, Mace killing Jango is the smoking gun. Boba witnessed the death of his father, whom he obviously idolized. Then he goes out after the battle and takes his pop's armor. That is going to pay off by the end of Episode III--Star Wars isn't about realism so much as drama and lessons, and Boba killing Mace--even if Anakin helps--is the most dramatic outcome. I dont think with the fall of the republic and the rise of the empire that we will see a happy ending with a celebration. Well maybe for the empire. Oh throw in there the slaughter of almost all the jedi and it seems remote that it will have a happy ending.

What I was really referring to here was the ceremony where Padme is wearing white and Leia's wearing white and there are steps and at least one object of ceremonial interest (ball and medals)... Mandalorian iTi
Originally posted by CupO'Coffee probably, but since star wars is to a huge part about personal matters and stuggles, it would be logical that boba wastes mace. this might sound unlikely since boba will be around 13 or 14 years in ep3, but maybe anakin or dooku injures mace pretty bad and let's boba finish him off (see above the post from vestril, the lucasforum super spammer ) How do you know how many years EPIII will take place after AOTC?HUH? maybe it takes place when Boba is an adoult, say 10-15 years. I mean look at the years between EPI and EPII. Anikin was like 10 also in EPI and in EPII he was around 18 right? So there Boba could be an adult in EPIII, or at least a young adult.
