I want to enter some cheats - I hold shift and ~ (like it says on the official site) when I'm in single player game but nothing happens! Should I be somewhere special? What am I doing wrong? Longjocks Posted May 24, 2002 Share Posted May 24, 2002 What you're doing should be fine. To make sure, the way I do it is to hold shift and tap ~ then release the shift key. If you still have problems then I'd test to see if your tilda key (~) works fine in Notepad or something... it might be a keyboard issue. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The key under [esc] has ¬ and ` on it here! Thanks for that GideonTheDead;) I would never have figured it out. I just have one more question: Now that I have activated the cheats, is there any way to get them off if I decide I don't want them anymore and if so, what is the code?
