Aayla Secura

Aayla Secura's first Master (teacher) was indeed the Kiffar Quinlan Vos, but after they both veered too close to the Dark Side the Jedi Coucil decided to split them up. Aayla was then assigned to Jedi Master Tholme.

But shortly thereafter she graduated to a full Jedi Knight. So during the events of EP II she should be a Jedi Knight. (At least, perhaps even a Jedi Master already because at starwars.com she is sometimes referred to as Jedi Master Aayla Secura.)

And she did not die in EP II! Like Bradfu said you can see her afterwards with the Clone Trooper army. (You also see Mace Windo, Kit Fisto, Plo Koon, Ki-Adi-Mundi. I didn't see Adi Gallia or Luminari Undulli? Did I overlook them?) :)

I agree with IVFJK that she should have had a bigger role in EP II, well we can always hope for a larger part for her in EP III. (Hopefully Amy Allen will still portray her then.) Though the new Dark Horse Comic series 'Rite of Passage' features Aayla, and her becoming a Jedi Knight, I hope many more series will involve her. :D:)

I heard that Adi Gallia wasn't in Ep2, there was another chick that looked like her named Stass Allie or something.

It says at TheForce.net that Aayla Secura was only a Padawan, could that be could that be wrong?

I'm not sure. Since Aayla's character is still being developped through the comics (that take place before EP II) I guess it's hard to say. I saw her mentioned as a Jedi Master, Jedi Knight and Padawan.

My guess is though she's a Jedi Knight in Episode II. She's on the verge of becoming one in the latest comic 'Rite of Passage' plus besides Anakin the only survivors from the Arena battle are Jedi Knights or Jedi Masters. Not even Barriss Offee, Luminari Unduli's padawn doesn't survive the arena fight and Luminari Undili and her padawan are said to be most adept at lightsaber combat. So my guess is since Aayla survives she's at least a Jedi Knight. :)

Actually at starwars.com they explain that for Obi-Wan as well as for other Jedi Knights that though they are 'merely' Knights often they are referred to as 'Master' out of respect. Mostly by non-Jedi.

(Lawyers are sometimes called 'Master', 'Counselor' in some countries. It's not really a title but just a gesture of respect.) :)

its an honored title by non Jedis, Obi Wan is "only" a Knight but because he is the teacher of a Jedi non-Jedi's seems to believe he is a Master... you can see it @ http://www.starwars.com/community/askjc/jocasta/askjc20020606.html ... Obi Wan never reachs Jedi Master Status ;)

the site says that it's an "honorific" title. i'm sure yoda uses it b/c he is front of the children, conveying the need for them to address all such older jedi in the same manner... kind of like when a school teacher refers to another teacher as "mr. so-and-so" in front of a student, but calls that same person "Joe" back in the teachers' lounge.

i just downloaded and fought with BOTH skinpacks. let me just say that overall the model and skins are *BLEEP* incredible! my only gripe is with the senna skin by DaAdmiral ... it looks like it could use a little more work with textures/shading (especially in the face) and it's just too PINK ... no offense DaAdmiral. ;) besides aayla, my favorite skin is the one by Nanodagiardino (love your darth mekanus skin btw).

excellent work, guys! can't wait to see updated versions. keep up the great work!
