Alright, I'm never going to get the robe moving to my satisfaction with the current animation system, but I think I've gotten it about as good as I can.

Model done, Weights done, shaders done, gotta write the readme, compress a few textures and we'll be ready to go :)

Alright, it's a little over 8 megs (Lots of skins and sounds)

It's definatly not perfect, the robe has many problems I couldn't fix due to the animation system, but I hope you guys have as much fun with him as I had making him :) He fully supports facial animation (first one released with it supported I beleive) so feel free to pop him in single player if you like :)

Heh, yeah, I may just do that Keo :) A Second version definatly is a possibility, I really would like to add that special flaming effect if possible, as well as a few more things (sith cane)

Now I'll take tommorow off and finish up Kit, let me know what you guys think, if there are any errors or whatever, I extensively tested it, but I could have missed something

It should be noted to anyone still reading this that that version of the holo skin is the wrong one. That was the last length of my experimenting. Toonces must have forgot to update the files, or grabbed the wrong one while he was burning the midnight oil.

Toonces, when you wake up you need to fix this.

Also, those effects on the model were stripped, and the icon looks nicer on the final version. I'd post it here myself, but have no way of doing so.

anyone can do animated icons. You can do it one of two ways I believe. Both involve shaders. The one I did was just taking different images layering them on top of each other and giving each one it's own effect properties in the shader, the result is what you see there. The second method I just thought of as I started typing this, so I haven't tested it yet, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. There's a shader command that allows you to use up to eight frames of animation using eight different images. That one should work for icons too.

That's a great thing about shaders, any image in game is capable of being edited. That is, as long as it's a standard image. There are like sprite effects and things in engines that get compiled differently so a shader might just mess things up.
