Ahem..... I have a problem with your otherwise excellent mod:

 

Don't know if this has been posted before, but to "activate" the mod, I have to create a server with bots, and *then* go and play on the net for your mod to show up correctly. If I go play on the net right after i started the game, I'll just get the old, standard sabers.

 

Did that make any sense?

 

Hope you have an answer and it's not just my computer that's f*cked up yet again...

 

BTW, I have to do this as well with the new sabersound mods, for them to work.

I don't have that kind of problems...

 

1. My problems are that host "never" have same mods

what i have so my mods will be disabled...

 

2. If i join to server where my mods are not allowed and

they will be disabled then they will remain disabled even

if i then join to server where host uses them or unpure

server (when that game disables some mods i must

close that game program and then restart if i want

to get my mods running again)

Well i don't know if you know or anyone know or like

but this new saber mod i am working with it not just

saber mod anymore and not just effects...

 

It is more like Special FX / Weapon MOD...

It is hard (or impossible) to take screenshot of that

but there are one new thing what i have succeed to

do and that is to make those characters to use those

actual blocking anims during saber combat (like in SP)

 

(when normally during saber combat when you block

you just keep your saber in ready position and those

blocking anims are used only when blocking

blaster fire...)

Well i don't have any estimate release dates or anything...

 

(because i don't know what exactly am i doing (i have no

clear plan/aim...) i just add and remove and modify things

here and there trying to make it better...

 

It is ready when i don't know what to do or how to do

anymore or when i get sick of this stupid project...

Something new to tell about... YEP.!

 

Like i sayed in some of those earlier posts characters

now actually use different blocking anims during saber

combat but now i also changed those anims to other

ones which looks better... (when blocking projectiles

you still use those original blocking anims..)

 

And that whole blocking system have been changed a

bit... now both Force Offence and Defence levels affects

to your blocking abilities... force defence power affects

to all blockings in all situations and force offence affects

to your abilities change in to blocking moves in the

middle of attack move...

 

If your defence level is one then you can't block at all

during attack no matter what that offence level is and

same reversed (no attack blockings if offence is one)

 

Even when you have both defence and offence levels

at 3 you can't block during "spinning" attack...

 

BUT both saber offence and defence costs much more

than normally soo if you want to be top class saber

specialist then you can't have very high other

powers....

That first saber mod was just graphic improvements...

This mod what i am doing now changes quite much more..

 

But it have its own code (so you can't use TCK, JEDIMOD

or any other mod which makes changes to code at the

same time..)

 

Anyway what it does:

 

1. Saber colors: RED <- 3 Shades -> BLUE <- 3 Shades -> GREEN

2. Modified saber hit effects...

3. Modified saber trail...

4. Blocking uses snimations during saber combat...

5. Allows you to block also when attacking (depends of your skill)..

6. Modified saber damage levels

7. Dismemberment stuff on by default...

(6+7 = nearly like saberrealisticcombat...)

 

8. Modified blaster (pistol, e11, clone cannon) hit effects...

9. Modified blaster (pistol, e11, clone cannon) projectile effects...

10. Modified weapon operation...

11. New weapons/models...

12. Modified bots..

 

........
