Deus Ex was cool, but never scared me. The scariest game I've played, I'll admit, is playing the Marine in AVP2. Now that will get your pants full of sh**. Preds rarely make me nervous; either I've spotted them before they spotted me, or I'm already dead. Bugs, on the other hand...there was a marine level in AvP that I just didn't want to go through, because of the near-constant xenomorph assault. And since AvP2 came out, I've been jumping in my seat again, because this time when the facehuggers get you, the underside of the little smeggers are the last thing you see on the screen.
