sunrider4240
Ok, i know this has ab. nothing to do with JKII, but i was thinkin about this yesterday, and i've come to the conclusion that no one really knows HOW Darth Vader killed all the Jedi. Wouldn't you like to know how it was done in such a short amount of time? Well, I'm writing a story that picks up RIGHT AFTER (possible EPIII spoilers, not sure) Anakin is fighting Obi-Wan and gets knocked into a molten pit, and the story follows from there, up to a few years before A New Hope. So what I need, is possible ideas to come from the fans, to make this story all the better for all you out there who want to see something like this written. Email me your thought at skywalker4240@snet.net or respond to this post and i'll keep you updated with whats going on. I already have an opening paragraph for the first chapter, so if you want that, leave your email and i'll send it to you. Thanks.
Lime-Light
Just like in the Dark Empire comics: Vader and Sidious constuct huge prison ships that dull the force. How to get them in there? Maybe make a jedi clone army, overwhelm the counsel. Or, sidious, as palpatine, could convince the republic that the jedi are weakened (as they are, by sidious) and cast them out, where they could be exterminated one by one. Exar
if this question doesnt get explained in Ep III ill be surprised and dissapointed. I was hoping id get to see a young vader be super evil and slaughter jedi (including mace!).
sunrider4240
The problem with the Jedi Clone army idea is that what happens to them in the end? obviously they can't just say, well your services are done, take a vacation. they would need to get rid of them. so you can't do that. i like the idea of the prison ships that dulled the force, i like that idea alot, combined with the Jedi energy cages that Palpatine employed. ***Update*** First chapter is done, just editing it now as i speak. BCanr2d2
I doubt that we will see the "Jedi Purge" in Episode 3, since we will barely see any of Vader in Episode 3. OR that is what I am lead to believe. We are more likely than not for Anakin to receive his injuries late in the movie, and slowly more scenes reveal about how Anakin becomes Vader, whilst other action is still happening.... I don't like the idea of mechanical or mineral means to stop the Force, that is one bad idea of the EU. Too much of a game of one-upmanship so that one book/series stands out from another. Qui-GONE Jinn
I don't like those mechanical means to stop the force either...it's stupid. As for my ideas...remeber first of all that a Jedi is not a "god", they are almost just as susceptible (sp?) to physical attacks as other people (well, they can obviously fall from great heights and so on, but...) I think we will see acts of terrorism against the Jedi Temple-building, during the Clone Wars Palpatine will probably betray many Jedi to their deaths by sending them to defend hopeless positions and so on... does anyone know what I mean??! BCanr2d2
I see more of a trap to take the Jedi from the temple, rather than a direct attack on Coruscant. More likely than not, the Jedi are spread way too thin trying to keep the Republic in order, that they are killed off one by one.....
greedo626
heh heh. I began to write a Star Wars story a few years ago. It was set between ANH and ESB. it was about Vader searching for a Force Sensitive fighterpilot that he wanted to train ( what was I thinking? ). anyway it was pretty crappy and I never finished it. but if anyone wants a good laugh they can see it(remember, I wrote it when I was 12 so be kind). on second thought, please don't ask to see it. Jedi_Monk
I think that the Jedi Purge will have already begun when Obi-Wan confronts Anakin. I think their battle will parallel the sequence in Return of the Jedi where the Emperor tries to turn Luke to the Dark Side. Luke keeps claiming, "I feel the good in you, the conflict!" Vader tells Luke, "Obi-Wan once thought as you do... you don't know the power of the Dark Side!" I'm guessing we're going to see a lot of that... but either way, there's two ways I can see the battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan play out. Anakin begins killing the Jedi; Obi-Wan is po'ed and wants to put an end to his apprentice (never wanted him in the first place, if you remember from TPM). He fights Anakin with the intention of killing him, but can't go all the way. Or, Obi-Wan goes after Anakin with the intention of turning him back to the Light Side ("I sense the good in you...") and Anakin forces him to maim him. Either way, I'll say the Jedi purge has begun. obi
Vader dont kill any jedi. He mind tricked them into being stormtroopers and Luke&company killed them.
