Id love to see Dave Prowse back, but guess people are gunna say hes to old now:( (He's 66, but i read on his website hes back in training to get himself considered) The obvious answer is Hayden Christensen, but has he got the required physique?! Could be another bodybuilder? Also heard James Earl Jones is back doing the voice...? Hope so!

He recently underwent some major surgeries, but has expressed his desire to reprise the role of Darth Vader. Christopher Lee is 80, eh? I pray that he lives until they shoot Episode 3. He is definitely in tremendous shape for a man his age, as he demonstrated in Episode 2 and Lord of The Rings. :D

Redwing Posted June 16, 2002 Posted June 16, 2002 Hayden should definitely protray Vader outside of the mask. But after the injuries, and being put into the black suit...I think Prowse should do it, definitely.

The news that James Earl Jones has been hired to do 7 minutes of dialogue confirms he'll be back, probably sumtime in the last 1/2 of the film:)
diabolousorod Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 anakin has already turned to the darkside. if you watch aotc when he walks away from padme on tatooine(where he looks like vader) there is also a part after where anakin is on his speederbike going past one of the suns on tatooine. at this point in the movie i believe that he makes the transformation to the darkside.as he rides he turns into vader, check it out. exellent forshadowing, i think that anakin will be vader very early in the next film.

These are still his young days, he is not that physically built yet. I think that we are also going to see an earlier version of the Darth mask, half finished, and looks nearly like the original.

I didn't notice that part. I did notice that when he is looking of into the sunset, his shadow on the hut bends so his head looks like darth's helmet.
Lionen Posted June 25, 2002 Posted June 25, 2002 yeah, i watched it, and the robe maded it look exaclty like Vader when he talks to Padmé before he runs off to the Tuskens, and when he rides his speederbike.... is it his haircut, that makes it look like the helmet, or is it just some weird effect that shows what will happen to him?
