much bloodshed in ep3?

I noticed something, watch "A New Hope" then watch "Attack of the Clones". Notice a difference? There is a big one. At the end of AotC, all the jedis fight. But, of course, not all of them die, in fact, more lived then died. But in ANH, there are 2 jedis! Yoda and Obi-wan! (and luke later on). That's three out of all the jedi seen in AotC! (and I don't think it is just 'cause they all died of old age!, lol) That means, the all die in the clone war.

Battling i sense, die jedis will! mmmmmmm....many jedis....mmmmmmm.......many jedis indeed will.......mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Any other thoughts on this!

You have to watch ANH again, pay close attention to when Ben(Obi Wan) tells Luke about how Darth Vader helped hunt down and kill all the remaining Jedi except for Yoda and Obi Wan who survived the jedi purge.

Some will die during the Clone Wars but most will be finished off by Vader.

Vader doesn't exist yet during the clone war, it's still Anakin who will eventually become Vader. The only spoiler Lucas has given out about ep 3 is that the movie begins with the end of the clone war. It's after the war that it gets really interesting in that Anakin becomes Vader, how he is turned to the dark side i don't know yet but we will find out when ep 3 comes out. Then as Vader he exterminates the Jedi.

I'm going to cry when Aayla Secura dies. :(

But it's also possible several other Jedi went into hiding or exile. (Much like Yoda and Obi-Wan.)

Though Samuel L Jackson (Who played Mace Windu) hints that he will die a glorious death I have also heard the rumour that there will be a twist in it revealing or hinting in Episode III that there's many Jedi who will effectively go into and stay into hiding.

(Maybe the EU New Jedi Order authors will use this later on in the new books? Then again the NJO books series will be completed before EP III is released.)

For me Aayla Secura won't die but will survive and hide. :) (Can't let such a kickass babe die! :( )

If 100 Jedi came into the arena fight, then that is a small fraction of all the Jedi available.

There are about 4,000 or so Jedi around the galaxy. Not counting the young kids in training.

I think Vader and company kill off most of them but alot of them maybe escape and take into hiding.

Actually there's about 9000 Jedi throughout the galaxy with an additional 200 at the Jedi temple in Coruscant. (For emergencies like in Episode II.)

Aayla Secura is a blue female Twi'lek Jedi who originated as a character in the Expanded Universe from the Dark Horse Star Wars Comics set between Ep I and Ep II. George Lucas was so impressed by the Cover Art of one of the comics featuring the Aayla Secura character that he decided to include her in Ep II. :)

She was played by Amy Allen who is an ILM employee and was a production assistant on Ep II. You can see her first in the scene at the Jedi Temple where Obi-Wan Kenobi visit Yoda (and the younglings), then again at the final Arena Battle on Geonosis, she is one fo the rare Jedi survivors (who's not on the Jeid council) being led into the group to the right (you see Plo Koon and Ki Adi Mundi to the left) you can see her standing behind Mace Windu, then board the transports and finally lead a group of Clonetroopers into battle. :)

In the comics Aayla Secura is the padawan of Kiffar Jedi Quinlan Vos but after they both lost their memory and veered to close to the Dark Side the Jedi Council assigned her to Master Tholme. In the newer comics she on the verge of becoming a Jedi Knight so I assume that in Ep II she is.

Here you can see pictures and quotes from Amy when she attended Celebration II and she also talks about the Aayla Secura character. (Most notably about Aayla Secura's most striking visual element, besides from being a Twi'lek is that she wears a more revealing outfit than the traditional Jedi Robes. :D Oh yeah, what a babe. :) )

Man.... is ep III ever gonna be a fast paced movie lol. They have so much to do. They should make it a 3 hour movie so they can do everything right.

I don't think they'll show that much of the Jedi annihilation because George Lucas probably won't want to make a movie that'll make little kids cry. Vader better be in the movie.

I can't wait till episode III comes out!

I hope that Palpatine/Sidious has at least 1 crazy lightsaber duel with like Yoda or Mace Windu. Maybe a 2 on 2: Dooku/Sidious vs. Yoda/Mace.

Now that I think about it, how are 2 or 3 Sith gonna take out thousands of jedi?

 Good luck Vader + friends!!!

i don't understand how people can say that ayla secura is a bad ass jedi, i mean she is all right looking but after seeing the movie twice i never actually saw her fight and now people are making a big deal out of it, please explain to me. if it's just because she lived through the arena fight then that's just (in my opinion) pathetic

You are all right, but you fergot about the kids who were being trained, so there must be more pupils at different ages.

Also they could clone Jedis, but I don't know if that will work, will they have the force.

If there is a Valley Of The Jedis, like the computer games, they could make more Jedis, as the Valley is VERY old.
