Flying Beastie
Yo! I was sniffing around the same site that had that transforming car (from over in the Gundam thread), and found this: The following cool clips were taken from the CGI (computer graphics imaging) "pilot" for a proposed new TMNT television show. "Pilot" in this case simply means a short clip that illustrated the look and feel of what the show would have been like had it been picked up by a network. These clips are not excerpts taken from a longer 22 minute episode, they're the entire pilot. There's no story involved, it was done to convey the atmosphere, direction and content of the show as quickly and effectively as possible. As the guy says later, the CGI could be better, but it's still an awesome glimpse of what could have been. "Cowabu--*mmph*" "We talked about that." BTW, don't bother with clip 3; clip 4 has "clip 3" in it (that's why it's so big).
Keyan Farlander
Everything in those clips sucked more than I could ever imagine anything sucking, with one exception. The turtles themselves were pretty cool. That's obviously the most important thing, so it might have worked out pretty well. Actually, Splinter wasn't bad either. edlib
"Telegraph Road" is my favorite song by Mark Knopfler & crew. Genius. The live version is amazing. Excuse me... I have to hear it RIGHT NOW!!!
Deac
The live remixed Telegraph Road is better than the original. Wait! Here comes the walk of life *Does the walk of life* and this is the WALKER OF LIFE Oooh..now comes Private Investigations!
edlib
"Love Over Gold" is a really deep, thoughtful album, (with the possible exception of "Industrial Disease" which is a fun, goofy song more reminisent of some of thier older material.) The title track to "Brothers In Arms" is pretty moving too. It's a pretty profound statement to be found on an album that had so much chart success. The other album around that time that surprised me was Sting's "Soul Cages" album. Not your typical pop-rock album. It's pretty deep. Not exactly a "party-spin"
