Jango Fett Vs Boba Fett

Recommended Posts

Jango? Jango is such a wuss. He managed to escape from Oni-Wan. Woot. Now thats street respect. NOT! And Boba doesn't really do anything impressive in the movies, either. But since Boba catches up and turn pretty cool in the EU, my vote goes to him.

Well a nerd would point out that as a clone Boba should be pretty identical to Jango.

But I would say Jango, 'cos Bobba 'dies' (I know, alive in the EU, blah blah) in ROTJ by being knocked into the Sarlaac by a mostly-blind man with his arms tied around him. Then he screams like a girl as he falls. And he's got no manners when he answers the door in AOTC.

Boba Fett - a lost little boy who happened to inherit daddy's flash armour. I could have could Han Solo if I had that. Without Vader's help.

I hate Boba Fett.

Don't know. (don't really care :D )

I'd say both.

Jango cause he must be some really special guy that was selected to be the 'father' to an entire army of soldier clones.

And since Boba is one of those clones (and movie-only-fans say that the rumors about him having been a stormtrooper once is complete and utter noncense :D ) he would in a way have Jango's body, although he never went thru the same kind of training as the rest. He grew up normally and not accelerated. But he still had this mystical thing about him, that there was something special about him.

Jango was not trained by madalorians.

I preafre Jangos amour, like the color scheme and the design better. But he really never did much. While boba is cool, awsome if you read Eu i recomedthe bounty hunter trilogy. So it is a toss up but Boba has ALOT more backstory.

I'm not disagreeing with you here Sckitzo, but you have to remember we've only known about Jango for a few months. Boba on the other hand has been around for about 20 years. So just give it some time and I'm sure Jango EU material will start popping up all over. For instance the game Bounty Hunter is coming out, which focuses on some of Jango's earlier missions.

There is already a series by Dark Horse Comics, which is

, I believe, called "Jango missions" or something like that.

In which the original mandalorians and Jango and boba are

admist battle after battle.

from starwars.com

Jango Fett was orphaned at an early age, the son of simple Concord Dawn farmers killed by brutal marauders. At the age of ten, he was picked up by Journeyman Protector Jaster Mereel, who introduced Fett to a harsh world of mercenary life. He was raised among great warriors, learning to survive in the rugged frontiers. Though the Mandalorian supercommandos were wiped out by the Jedi Knights, Jango was one of the few left to still wear the armor

take it anyway you want
