HapSlash
Paint is a little too simple to do any real work with, and I'm not really familiar with PhotoShop,... but I hear that that's what most people use. I myself am using Micrografx's PP7 which is quite different from PS, but I like the way it handles,... Sorry I couldn't be much real help to you. BradFu
Mapping is easier? What planet are you from Photoshop will do what you need for skinning. If you're fairly familiar with it, you should find it pretty easy. There's a skinning tutorial at JKII.net that you can read, it'll give you an idea of where to get the files to build your skin on, and how to pack them up when you're finished. The hard part, really, is creating the graphics, the Photoshop portion. If you don't have much experience with Photoshop, you can easily find tutorials all over. Try and learn a lot about shading and highlighting, as well as texturing.
