Commander Bond
Firstly, I just want to say how impressed I was with "Attack of the Clones" and what a good character Obi-Wan Kenobi makes. With each new film we learn more, and the Jedi Master is beginning to grow on me. Now, I know this forum is "Star Wars", but I want to ask a question: who here likes James Bond? It's just that I find that most people who like a certain thing mostly like another. All the "Star Wars" fans I know like James Bond, and I was wondering if the same could be said for you people in here. Some of my friends who like "Star Wars" also like "Star Trek". Is this also true of you people in here? By the way... don't just say "I liked 'Moonraker'" because this could almost be classed as science fiction (with the laser fights and space battle). What about the other films? I know this has nothing to do with what you people are talking about, but could you please answer me? 007, signing off. ET Warrior
Let me start off by saying, why the hell do you have Roger Moore as your avatar? Sorry, i simply think that Connery was a MUCH better bond, and brosnan is my second favorite. Moore comes in third. I just didn't like him that much. I love James Bond personally, but i rather hate Star Trek...i don't enjoy it atall.
mez1109
I liked 'Moonraker' Just Joking. I have seen all the Bonds several times, but I don't even own them on VHS or Tape, I just bought the World is Not Enough, because I thought that was the best Bond movie I have ever seen. Connery is better Bond then Moore, but I rather like the Moore movies more. Brosnan for some reason reminds me of Roger Moore, he is like Moore's son who plays James Bond. Lionen
Roger Moore, is not so bad.... but i think Sean Connery fits a little better as Bond. I like the 007 movies... most "You only live twice", "The man with the g*lden gun" and "GoldenEye" .....i know ONE person that will fill this thread in no time...... MotionMan
I love the James Bond movies. Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnon are the best. All 3 of them i like. The other 2 Bonds sucked.
Sith Inquisitor
Sorry, you're all wrong. Mike Myers was the best James Bond. http://images.allposters.com/images/132/074_GOLDMEMBER_DOUBLESIDED.jpg Yeah, Baby, yeah!!!
Lionen
He isn´t James Bond, he plays Austin Power... still Austin Power can beat James Bond anytime...
MotionMan
Ya a goofy secret agent who doesnt really do any fighting would win:rolleyes: His side kicks do all the fighting or the bad guys beat themselves up with their own mistakes. James Bond would win no competition. Thats doesnt mean I dont love the Austin Powers movies. They are funny as hell. I cant wait to see goldmember! Remember that Austin Powers wouldnt exist if it wasnt for James Bond.

Commander Bond
Roger Moore is my avatar because my three favourite James Bond films are "The Spy Who Loved Me", "A View to a Kill" and (I must admit) "Moonraker". I think Moore makes a great Bond. He can be funny and light-hearted, yet deadly serious as well. For me, Connery was too serious. I do agree, though, that Connery was an amazing Bond. So is Brosnan, and I have a feeling that "Die Another Day" will enter my top three in November! Who could write for ages in this forum? One of you mentioned someone... Golden Gun
Well, my first loyalties are to James Bond, yet I love Star Wars. My favourite James Bond film is "The Man with the Golden Gun" (obviously) because of Scaramanga. He is the perfect Bond villain, plus he has a flashy weapon which is amazing. However, I do agree with most people: Sean Connery was the best 007. Roger Moore was good, but I think when it comes down to it Sean Connery IS James Bond! Star Wars is great, and I can see why Obi-Wan is growing on you, Commander Bond. He is my favourite character as well. I also like Count Dooku, but that is just because he is Christopher Lee and he is amazing. My second favourite Bond film is "Goldfinger" and my third is "The Living Daylights". I like "Goldfinger" because it has it all: fast cars, lovely women and a great bad guy ("So, do you expect me to talk?" "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!"). "The Living Daylights" is Dalton's first Bond and I think he slips into the role nicely, even if he only did two films.
AgentSmith
Personally I love Star Wars, Star Trek and James Bond. (In that order. ) I think Sean Connery was the best James Bond, but you know that's all personal taste. Roger Moore was great too though! I have the Bond films with Pierce Brosnan on VHS, they rock, he was the perfect candidate for the new James Bond and I'm glad he did all those films. Actually all the actors bring something special to James Bond as a character, escpecially considering the era their respective films were made. Pierce Brosnan being more of the new era, modern day James Bond who tries to combine his image and personality of the gentleman seducer with the high-tech spy and evolving British intelligence agency around him. Sean Connery is the classic James Bond, gentleman, seducer but also a bit defying and rebellious to the then exisiting agency. Roger Moore really brings out the pseudo-British nobility and military. I wasn't too fond of Timothy Dalton as James Bond but he did have that air of slight superiority and 'big shot macho' spy and all.
leXX
Connery was easily the best Bond. I love James Bond films, I grew up with them because my Dad is a huge fan and has ALL the videos. I've seen them all about 10 times each. My favourite Bond Quote is: "Do you expect me to talk?" "No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!"
AgentSmith
You're right lexx, that has to be best James Bond quote ever! Sean Connery's accent ... just brilliant! MotionMan
I didnt like Timothy Dalton as Bond, But the worst Bond had to be George Lazenby.
MotionMan
Aside from the Major Villans like Gold finger, Scaramango, Dr.No, ect. I like the Henchmen. The old henchmen that apeared in the 1960's and 70's movies were the best! These are my favorites: OddJob NickNack Jaws TeeHee Baron Samedi

Commander Bond
The best Jaws scene (I think) was the fight between him and Bond on Atlantis at the end of "The Spy Who Loved Me". When that giant magnet grabs him... just great! The worst Jaws part was that jump in "Moonraker"... one second he is standing still, the next flying through the air. It's so fake, yet it does not spoil the film too much. I just love the parachute (or not) jump at the beginning of "Moonraker" where Bond fights Jaws and the henchman in mid-air. Sean Connery was good, yet he has a Scotish accent. If Bond is British, he can't possibally have a Scotish accent. Being British myself, I think that Roger Moore has everything that is needed for 007: deadly precision with a touch of humour. My favourite quote from the Moore-films is: "There's never a cab when you want one!" (Bond sitting on top of the Golden Gate Bridge at the end of "A View To A Kill").
