I like Akira and Ninja Scroll a lot. Cowboy Bebop and Trigun are awesome too. But the original Mutha of all Japanime would have to be, IMHO, Macross (Robotech). Anime is okay overall (beats any American cartoon series, easily), but many of them come off as trash or "filtered" when they're translated into English. Coolest Anime series out there? Cowboy Bebop. Aoshi Posted July 21, 2002 Share Posted July 21, 2002 Rurouni Kenshin is the best followed by Record of Lodoss War, Cowboy Bebop, Flame of Recca, Fushigi Yuugi, Robotechs, Evangelion. Unfortunately none of those are listed so out of those available I'd say Ninja Scroll was best. I dont really like any Toonami animes except for the old school anime that i grew up watching. Too bad they dont show He-man or She-ra. I loved those shows as a little kid (i'm 19 btw) and G.I. Joe. I had like every G.I.Joe action figure ever =\.
