RpTheHotrod
The answer IS.... *drumrolls*.... Marine Sniper! No one got it right, heh. I made up the other choices..not sure if those titles even exist. I'd take a snapshot of the entire book cover if I still had my cam set up. Marine Sniper is a book based on the true story of Carlos Hathc0ck, a marine sniper in veitnam. He had 98 confirmed kills and twice that unconfirmed. He even went into deep enemy territory to take out important enemy commanding officers. The Viets called him Long Tra'ng du K'ich...which translates to "White Feather Sniper" because Carlos always wore a white feather in his hat. Although people thought that the feather would ruin his camo, he was never killed in combat. He did have a close encounter when searching for another sniper looking for him. He saw a flash of light suddenly in the bushes below the hill he was on, and decided to take a shot. It was a successful hit right into the enemy sniper's SCOPE...meaning that the enemy sniper was aiming at Carlos also. Carlos just pulled the trigger faster. It's a fantastic book, and I recommend everyone to check it out and read it.
