Guest Bifficvs
What is everyone's official stance one these?
Guest Kvan
I voted no. Although its not a huge issue with me, I'd rather wish they would have left them out of GB.
Guest Tie Guy
I think that they should be in the game, but not as an objective. Like, i don't want the enemy to win by building something, how gay is that?!? Still, they add a lot of "feel" to the game, i just wish they were part of the landscape rather than an objective. So like Monument Square at Coruscant?
Lord JayVizIon
it depends. however, if the rebels builded an ion cannon and you have to destroy it, then that would make a lot of sense. so, if it's a monument that is different for each civ and has importance other than making unique units and such, than yes it would be okay

Lord JayVizIon
okay, got them mixed up. but i thought about them, and no, screw the monuments.....
Guest Paladin
Keep the Monuments. They look cool. The only game that they should keep is the Defend the Wonder game.
JEDI_MASTA
man u guys are to picky if u dont want them to count just put the game on conquest there main purpose was to defeat an enemy without military to keep emphesis off the military part of the game and focus on trade and relics and wonders that was their use if u dont like it turn them off im all for it:)
Guest midgetminnie
I vote yes . Wonders in AOK allowed a unique approach: waste all your resources on it and its defense, and you win. It really does zest it up a bit, and is a good desperation tactic.
Darth_Rommel
I couldn't care less about monuments! I never use them anyway... still they are kinda interesting...
Guest Bifficvs
by the way, I always have meant to mention this, Darth Rommel, that is the coolest damn screen name I have ever seen.

Paragon_Leon
well, my 'official stance' on this, is that i like to have wonders in the game. Remember, you can choose if you want them in your particular game or not. It adds another gaming-style, which only works better for the game's longevity. That said, i never really played Wonder-games in AOK, but it's nice to have a few options..

JediMasterEd
i really am unsure about this. Wonders/Monuments show how advanced you are and your ready for anything, kind of. It would be better if the Monuments attacked. The Ion Cannon can fire two shots at a spot you chose and disables and tank/ walker/ ship in that area and kills and infantry. Imperials, 5 free Tie Fighters. Wookies, 10 Wookie Beserkers. Trade Federation, 5 AAT's. The Gungans, 4 Faamba Shield Generators. Naboo, 6 Naboo Bomber. All of this could come with the monument/wonder. Though I'm just saying. The bad thing is, it makes you a target... and a mighty big one at that! Guest xwing guy
I voted yes because there are kinda unique and cool to look at, but I never used them anyways so it wouldn't bother me if they deided to take it out.

We know those aren't going to be there, and plus then they wouldn't really build monuments. I like the idea of them boosting unit morale though. This could work out practically by adding one or two points to all aspects of your units. That would be cool. I also agree that I never really liked the fact that someone could win by building a monument.
Guest Darth_Venage
I voted yes, cuz wonders added a whole new dimension to gameplay. And winning by building a wonder is NOT that easy, as you are instantly a target, and the wonder takes YEARS and TONS of resources to build. And besides, they look cool!
