The starwars book was "Ghost" written by someone else. It wasnt george Lucas.

I know all about the lava story. It is semi-canon as of now. Till we see it in ep.3 we cant say thats the way Anakin gets his injuries.

Actually I think falling into lava is a bit extreme. He would have to be dead. People just dont walk out of molten lava.

A light saber is cabable of very horrible injuries my friend.

 

The volano/Lava thing "could" happen, but i really think that Lucas will go with something else.

In one of my earlier posts i said that I hope Sidious kills Dooku.

It was a typo SORRY:). I meant to say I hope Sidious kills mace. Or maybe a bunch of clone troopers.

I think what they mean by a lightsaber not able to make those cuts is that it would be REALLY hard to JUST cut an inch or so into somebody's skull without going all the way through, especially if you're in a fast and furious duel....

Right I am thinking Anakin will suffer a bad fall or something other than the Lava thing.

BTW-Dooku cut Obi-Wan slightly with the saber:D

It's hard to think which Sith will kill Mace. I hope it's either Sidious or Anakin. Preferably Sidious.

Thank you E.T. Warrior that's what I meant. Motionman I saw Darth Maul get sliced in half by Obi-Wan in THM so I know that Lightsabers can cut through anything including people

And also remember that he has lung trauma so his lung's had to of been damaged some how.

Oh and don't forget that he wears a suit. You just wouldn't wear all that for the looks. If it was just lung trauma that he suffred then why does he have the whole suit. He would just have a mask like Ko Ploon. So the suit protect's his body from whatever injuries he suffred.

It doesnt have to be a lightsaber injury as an alternative to the lave ordeal.

Anakin could suffer a fall. Heavy objects could fall on him. He could have something blow up right in front of him, ect.

As of now it seems the Lava theory is the most valid because that idea has been floating around since the OT days.

I just think Lucas might throw us a curve ball and change that.

I think actually Yoda foresaw everything, the Clone Wars, Anakin's turning and ultimately defeating Sidious/Palpatine.

 

Though it must have torn him apart that the Jedi would die as well as millions of others, he knew ultimately only that and Anakin turning into Vader would stop Sidious.

I don't think that Yoda foresaw that, just because i think that the darkside clouded his vision so much he couldn't really see anything. Had he foreseen all that would have happened, i think that he could have prevented it.......

I just think it is amazing that Darth Sideous has enough power to cloud the minds of even the most powerful jedi. I just can't wait to see what unfolds in ep III !!!

I don't think that Sidiouse was clouding their minds but that the Darkside is hard to see for a pair of Lightside Jedi. Like when Yoda told Luke that the future hard to see it is. I think that Lightside Jedi find it hard to see into the Darkside. Like Sidiouse sayed he foretold the future because he has the Darkside. Maybe they can sense it easier cause the have the Darkside. Do you guys think you understand what I'm trying to say?

I think I understand.....you're just talking about the basic differences between the two sides. The darkside being quick and easy while the lightside is more patient. Is that even close???

Yah sort of. Like you have the part of how Darkside is easy and Light is more patient. It's like Dark see's everything. But the Light is harder to see. Those Sith have it so easy. No wonder there are always Sith! Those bums! Can't they wait or something!? I guess they were the children who got everything they wanted so they can't wait and be patient.

Just to help you out with your quote,

Mace: "I think it is time we informed the senate that our ability to use the force has diminished."

 

Yoda: "Only the dark lord of the Sith knows of our weakness...if informed, the senate is...multiply, our adversaries will."

 

And i think that the darkside is actively clouding the jedi's vision and ability to use the force. They aren't as powerful when sith are around...which isn't very cool for them....stupid sith...
