TheWhiteRaider
This is something I have had trouble with. I'm making a saber hilt and the model is done, but I can't get a skin on it because I don't have the right stuff. I'm not on a high buget($5 is all!) I don't have a job, I live under my parents roof and I can't move out yet. And don't say something like "Look in the stuck thread jerk!" I looked there and I couldn't find anything. HapSlash
If you look around I'm sure you can find several demos for programs like Adobe's PhotoShop, Jasc's Paint Shop Pro, or Micrografx's Picture Publisher. Just do a quick search from Yahoo! or your preferred serch engine for downloadable demos. If you want more than just a demo my suggestion would be to look up Micrografx's Picture Publisher 7,... It can easily be picked up for about $10 off of ebay or several other on-line retailers.

Emon
http://www.gimp.org NO program "does a good job at skinning". YOU have to do the good job, NOT the program. There isn't a magical button that says, "Click Me!" that automatically makes your skin for you. Making good skins is tough, just keep that in mind. HeavyGear18
Word. Nothing is every automatic and comes easy. All the skill in skinning rests solely on the skinner.
