How to activate in-game console?

Hey, This is possible the dumbest question in the forum but err, how do I activate the in-game console to be able to use the commands and emotes (eg, "/sit")?

Shift + key left to 1 .

hold down shift and press the ` button (right next to 1)

The key to the right of 1 and bellow Esc and above tab is different in different countrys.
