Just to let you know, Maw is my favorite model so far(except for chewie and yoda, but I only use those for special occasions, and all three are on the same level). Of course that's just because he's from jk1, and it's temporary till I can have Jerec. He's got to be one of my favorite enemies, and my favorite jk1 skin(used it all the time when playing mp jk1). Jerec looks fantastic, the model and skin look great, no, let me amend that, incredible. You guys make a great team, keep it up! I've had a lot of spare time the last couple of days(and I'll have even more tomorrow), so I'm about 80% done with the default skin. I'm guessing I'll be finished tomorrow, which brings up the question of team skins. I was originally planning on just recoloring a few parts, but that seems like a copout to me. Anyone have any ideas or care to take a shot at a team skin? It's up to Madjai of course as far as anyone else skinning him is concerned, but I certainly wouldn't mind splitting up the work. All I ask is that I get dibs on a red ctf skin

If you wanna check out any of my work to see if you think I'm good enough....there is an Anakin Solo skin I did recently at jediknightii.net. Also there is a Jacen Solo skin at jediknight2files.com...but its under a diff name cuz the ppl there messed up for some reason. And it is also under the wrong category...its unders Star Wars models....dunno why those ppl at the website can't get it right:mad: . Anyway...also you can check out the Kit Fisto thread...Toonces let me skin the model also. There is a screeny of the head that I have completed. I'm always looking for nice models to skin if a person doesn't feel like doing the skin themself. Wish I could figure out how to uvwmap cuz then I would do it myself....but skinning the Jerec model would be great! Oh and if you want me to skin it then you can email me thru the forums.

I still need to add textures to the cloth, put a reflective shader on the inner armor, wrist/hand gauntlets, boots, shoulderpads, and belt, and I need to test it out in-game and adjust brightness/saturation. I'll post a shot as soon as things are a bit more finalized. And bleek, if you want a shot at skinning blue you're more than welcome to. I've seen some of your work on the kit fisto model and it looks quite excellent. Unfortunately, I won't have time to send you everything until tomorrow night, mostly due to the fact that I'm working 20 hours today and tomorrow, and I have to write a research paper for monday. Damn, college is fun.

I see a flaw in my Jerec skin so far though:( .....he seems so pale. I'm trying to add some orange-ish colors to parts of his face and blend that in. Post some pics when I get it looking better.

inbredyokel Posted September 24, 2002 Posted September 24, 2002 Looking very nice bleek. I like what you did with the strap on the back of his head. Only thing I can suggest is to soften the lines a bit and add some slight shading behind the temples and cheeks to make him look a little thinner.
