Last time I asked for help in here. Thanks to those who tried... :)

 

Damn the rest of you!!! lol.

 

This is my WIP Warcraft III inspired Night Elf model. Loosely based on the archer uniform.

 

It's about 2900 polys. The armor has a shader that gives off specularity. The textures are mostly WIP still.

BY THE WAY: Anyone know how to make a shader that can make her skin go transparent when the surface recieves little light? I have an idea of how to do it but it requires several sacrifices...

Hmm, If we chat on AIM, I am sure I could try to whip a shader for you in softimage. I was just reading about real-time shaders in game applications just yesterday. It seems like you just connect a couple of nodes, and shaazam, alothouhg i am not to sure how that will carry over in jk2.

Very nice! The Night Elves are my favorite playable race in WCIII (though the Tauren are the best :D )

 

So here's a question: are the armor bits removable? I'm thinking I could make a really cool SW-based skin for this model if I can turn off the armor peices :) In fact, I could probably make a really cool skin even if I can't turn off the armor :D Do you have an SDK available?
