Flamegrape
I don't care if this has already been brought up before. I simply refuse to manually search through all the threads to bump an old thread. These forums need an upgrade. Because of bandwidth problems (I'm told) no one can search the forums for any useful information. I need this forum to function like all other forums on the internet. And today I simply tried to load the main page or read threads and I got error messages. Get bigger, more powerful servers. I don't know who owns or maintains these forums. To me, it seems incredibly ironic that a forum pertaining to the works and accomplishments of George Lucas would be so technically crippled. It doesn't make sense. Darklighter
You have to remember that the reason for the bandwidth problems is usually the amount of users. Why don't you set up a forum with 70 000 members and see how you can handle it...
Jubatus
Furthermore, these forums are free of cost to the users. If you want server upgrade for stability are you willing to start chipping in for it? If somebody offers you a service for free, either appreciate it or decline it, and stop complaining, please. If the server administrators knew how to up the performance of the server without any cost to you, don't you think they'd do it?
